    Kevin martin

Was so much better in 2k11/12..I know he had a down season last year but as a bench player he's way better. hope he gets a update this season.. taking 5 threes a game and hitting 50%, and shooting almost 95% from FT

Martin can score anywhere, he isn't just a shooter. He's actually very good at attacking and getting himself to the line.

In MyCareer I'm on the rockets and he averages 28 pts per game. He's almost automatic from 3 point range. Never misses.

This isn't true at all. He's one of the more creative guys in the league at taking the ball to the basket.

I don't really see what you mean since the dude kills in my association and that started on the game release.

His 3 point shooting should be way higher..he's getting the most open looks in his career. Hopefully, after a couple months he gets his ratings boosted.

                        Re: Kevin martin

Maybe, but harden is not a better 3 point shooter than martin

matter of fact, now that harden and martin have reversed roles (#1 option vs sixth man), Harden is shooting 27% from 3 and Martin shooting 53%. And if you watched any thunder games at all, martin is getting great looks.

After he keeps this up for awhile I want to see his 3 point shot be a high 80 or a 90. Because he's been money with all of OKC's stars attracting the D. So good, KD got his first triple double

                        28 points, 8/11 FG, 6/8 3P
                        27 points, 9/17 FG, 6/11 3P
                        23 points, 8/15 FG, 5/7 3P
                        19 points, 5/11 FT, 3/3 3P

Huge difference is being a #3 option vs #1 when it comes to shooting and I think Harden's 3 point shot is a 86 and martin 82, even though I know this is going off last season. So I am hoping he gets his 3 point shot boosted eventually. They do it for most players

I don't. It's too early, and why should his 3pt rating get a boost when he's getting wide open looks? The quality of his shot (spot ups) has gotten better, not his actual shot. No way should he get 3pt ratings the same as Novak or Korver.

The same reason why Brandon Bass, Tim duncan, scola etc have a higher midrange than KD. Shoot in traffic/shoot off dribble/deadeye determine contested/wide open shot success. And I said after a couple months. This game's ratings is not based on real life shot quality, it's based on real life percentages. Otherwise, Bass, Duncan and Scola shouldn't be in the same ballpark as KD in shooting. They get open looks from Rondo, Parker and Lowry/Dragic. And kevin martin is going to play better than his ratings, obviously.

Edit - And half the reason novak and korver shoot the way they do is BECAUSE of open looks. They are elite 3 point shooters, but they shoot even better because they are 3 point specialist. That's why they are on the floor..to spread it and open up the court for the offense and make the defense honest. if they got real defensive attention, it wouldn't be like that. So you can't just say he shouldn't get a boost because his 3 point shot isn't better, he's just getting open looks. You can say that for all players.

And if you think I'm wrong, than i'll say it's exactly why Harden is struggling right now. No more KD and Westbrook on the floor. He's a more efficient shooter with them because he gets better looks and if martin is getting good ones, the game should mimic what he's doing in real life.
