Salary Cap in the $-13453.00 cant resign player

I do not know if this has been worked out yet...im in an online CCM, i have the steelers and i have a $-13435.00 for cap space, poluamlu, JJ wyatt, pouncey, and gilbert allllllllll need to be resigned. is there a work around? im not the commish so i have no control..i just want to keep those guys. i brought a retirement package for Troy and im concerned he may retire if i cant sign him..any help???? Also any news of patch coming out?

you suffered the GLITCH.

Im sorry but you either stop here and start again or advance through the off-season and risk losing all the players that are not resigned.

No, you don't just start over. You'll just end up with the glitch again.

At the moment there is no answer, which makes you another perfect candidate to TEST, TEST, and TEST.

The more people we have trying to find the root problem, the better chance we have of finding a solution.

I started a form for all this information it lasted a day. Since you have it now PLEASE TRY THIS METHOD BELOW and let us know if it worked.


TAKE 2-3 of your eligible players for re-signing. And select the "delegate" option.
then advance the week.


It's rumored if one signs or declines to sign that will lift the glitch. Please report back your results.

i cant start over...like i said im in someone league online..by far the best online madden until the glitch..womp womp

Looks like EA is fine with just letting this game ruining glitch continue on. What a mess.

ok i will try it, we are in week one of season 3 so, i will have to wait until week 2 for resign players to show up in MY ACTIONS. i will test delegate on a player and wait to till he advances to week 3, and ill come back and let you..

I've tried it, and can confirm that if the player rejects the offer it DOES NOT fix the glitch. I can't speak for if they do accept the offer, as I have not been that lucky yet.

I do not have the link I think i read it on EA forums. i spent all of last week reading up on "salary gap glitch" google searches.

got to week 2, press delegate and no one resigned with my team..so it wont be able to change my salary cap. i did read yesterday to look out for a new patch from nov 24 to dec 7 fixing the issue. also i read if u release those players u want to sign during playoff time, around the conference championships, when the new year hits..(you will know by their age changing) release them and pick them back up you will be able to keep them for another year.. and once the new season starts your cap will go back to normal.. i havent tired it but if someone will try and get back to us..
