I didn't watch last years NC game. I just can't bear to watch 1960's type football games. Especially when I know that my fav team of all time (01 Canes) would lay the smack down on these two teams. Can't wait for playoff system.

I didn't watch last years NC game. I just can't bear to watch 1960's type football games. Especially when I know that my fav team of all time (01 Canes) would lay the smack down on these two teams. Can't wait for playoff system.

Um...I've seen 1960s type of college football and while both aren't the most exciting they're far far beyond that. It's cool that you don't feel the need to watch the game but don't just outright dismiss two talented teams like that.

Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you the 2012 BCS National Champions.

And they were a great team...but let's not forget that that team needed an Ed Reed tipped interception return for a 90+ yard TD to avoid an upset at Boston College. Every team (except the '95 Huskers) has gotten breaks/needed help to avoid an upset along the way.

Honestly I don't like seeing the "traditional" teams in NC games. It was refreshing to see Auburn vs. Oregon a couple of years ago. It would have been amazing to see Ksu vs. Ore. Seeing coach Snyder in a Championship game. Seeing Oregon's offense in the game. I just hope Chip doesn't leave the program.

I would think in College football especially, it would be more refreshing to see a defensive and control the ball on offense type of teams.

WIll it beat the 21.7 rating that USC/Texas had, which was by far the highest rated BCS title game? I think the next closest had like a 17 rating.

That was such a good game. I can still remember how there came a moment when I realized Vince Young would not be stopped. It was a certainty. Like a scripted television show.

We'll also still probably get Oregon vs. KSU anyway in the Fiesta Bowl. Funny thing is they were supposed to play this season anyway. If the Ducks can get healthy, I like their chances.
