A.D.- Ron, we had high hopes for this program when we decided to offer
you the head coaching position. You, me, and the Eastern Michigan
community all did. But there's no hiding the fact of our recent failure. In
your two years here this football program has only won 2 games. I don't think I have to further elaborate...

Ron- Yes, understood...

A.D.- Now I can't speak for the community and the fans, but I like you
Ron. . .Look, I'm willing to give you ONE more chance. This possibly will be
your last contract here at EMU, if you don't show improvement and turn
this program around. I think two years seems fair?

Ron- Of course! I must thank you for this opportunity to redeem myself. I
will do everything in my power to change things around here. We're going
to have a total overhaul in how I run practice. I must get these guys in
better conditioning and strength. But most of all, I need to improve their
mental toughness. Ha, sorry for babbling. . .Now shall we negotiate the
terms of the contract?

A.D- Haha, yes we shall...

House Rules/About Me

Not many people around OS know me or have ever heard of me. I don't really post on the site, but I do follow this site very often. I've been actually wanting to start a dynasty blog sort of thing for a very long time. But I never really knew how to do it. I still don't really know how to do it lol. So I apologize in advance, if this doesn't go very well. I would love some advice/pointers on how to make this a better experience for us all.

Sliders: Change depending on realism/statistics. Recruiting is on Heisman. Also, I will not over recruit. I only recruit to fill for the players leaving (seniors,draft,transfers). But I will try to only keep 69 players, so I can have the opprotunity to receive transfers.

House Rules: I use Oraeon's injury adjustments, so skill players wont always be the only ones getting injured. I use the no switch rule on defense, controlling the best rated player. I also don't user catch. Now I take this next rule from playing CH2K8. I must stay at a program for atleast two years before I can accept another job offer.

I also won't be realigning conferences based on what has happened in real life. Reason being is it absolutely destroys the WAC. Instead I will try to notice if a certain team is just dominating their conference year after year, and they might get promoted to a tougher conference.

Impact Players:

Dominique Sherrer (HB, 5'9'', 201 LBS, Senior)

This guy is the best player on the team. He is a good consistent player that I can't wait to use in our rushing attack. His strengths are his: Speed (88), acceleration (92), and his Stamina (92). His weaknesses are his: Awareness (70), Carrying (70), Trucking (70), Elusiveness (74), BC Vision (62), Strength (62), Catching (64), Stiff Arm (72), and his impact blocking (44). Despite his downside, this guy is a tough runner and is going to cause havoc against weaker defenses.


Kinsman Thomas (WR, 6'2'', 205 LBS, Junior)

This guy has talent, but the problem with him is that he is not consistent. But he's one of those players that makes plays when one is needed. His strengths are his: Acceleration (87), Jumping (87), and his Stamina (89). His weaknesses are his: Catching ability (69), catch in traffic ability (67), Spectacular Catch ability (65), Release (60), Carrying (66), Break Tackle (69), Elusiveness (65), Juke Move (63), and his Stiff Arm (40). It's going to be interesting seeing how he performs this year.

Marcus English (MLB, 6'1'', 228 LBS, Senior (RS))

This guy may not be our best defensive player, but he is definitely one of them. What makes him stand out the most is his leadership and his experience. His strengths are: Acceleration (85), and his Block Shedding (85). His weaknesses are: Awareness (60), Play Recognition (70), Zone Coverage (55), Man Coverage (50), Hit Power (69), Catching (59), Strength (70), Power/Finesse Moves (70), Jumping (68), and Stamina (70). Marcus is another one of those players who just gives it his all. I expect great play and leadership from him this year.

Game Notes The Eastern Michigan Eagles will start their 2011 season against FCS opponent Howard. Despite Howard being an FCS team coach English told his players not to overlook them. "We must have that competitive spirit. The moment we overlook an opponent, is the moment we already lost the game. We must be mentally tough and attack this team like we're the underdogs. We must bring our everything against each and every opponent!" To say the least, it looks like the Eagles will be ready for this one.

Sorry about the delay, but I've been pretty busy lately. Hopefully I can get more updates during the week, but the weekends is where there will be the most updates. Also you guys may post if you want lol. Please if you guys have any tips/advice I would love to hear them. Like I said this is my first time doing this. Hope you enjoy !
