Skilled Post Players...i got a question.
where is the release point on the hook shot? i've practiced it all weekend on HOF SIM and i still dont feel like its automatic. since there is no shot release indicator on a hook shot, what body part do you look at 4 the release point OR what cadence do you use on your release OR what point of watching the ball do you release the shot button? i swear i MADE 500 hook shots this weekend and its still not wet. i used Roy Hibbert, Al Jefferson, and Dwight Howard and my results feel mixed as hell. any advice 4 a guy trying to master the lost art of the hook?

Re: Skilled Post Players...i got a question.
Am pretty sure there is no timing on hook shots. It's been pointed out before though, hook shots are innefective. I hope they post game was polished in the patch, I really hope so. There is something that makes me kind of reluctent to use the post game this year. The hook shot issue and the lack of contacts on up and under are part of it.
That's a shame because other than that they've added some pretty good moves and fakes.Comment

They can be effective from my center I used In 2k12 haven't made one in 2k13 yt tho, but it is usually automatic for me if I got on the right block and shoot with my right stick away from the basket, this reverses the shot and is usually banked in.Earn $10 a day with just a few minutes work each day here

I use it with regularity. It's never going to be perfect, but if my post gets deep position you can guarantee that I'm going to it. With good positioning deep in the post and a decent amount of stamina left it's about money for me on All Star.Keep Fighting the Good FightComment

Re: Skilled Post Players...i got a question.
I usually release the right stick when I see my player's shoulder turn to the basket. I got pretty good result hook right on the right block and hook left on the left block (the body facing baseline)
I am pretty sure there is timing as I can kind of feel the shot go in or not when I release it. I am using the classic skyhook though. Not really sure about the other hooksComment
