Which Team is Truly a Rebuild Project

There have been lots of discussions about potential rebuilding projects in M13, but I wanted to get some opinion on the REAL rebuilding projects in the game.

BUF comes to mind, though with Spiller, Jackson, Johnson, and play calling, the offense could be electric. Plus they have good backers and a great FS.

NYJ are a real-life disaster, but nothing's stopping them from being good in Madden. All they need is consistency upgrades for Sanchez and they're set.
CLE has the HB, CB, and SS to build around, plus decent DTs--that might be a legit target.

JAX has a mess at QB, but a good HB and OL to go with a very solid D.

TEN obviously has CJ2K, but the might be close to as bad as CLE.

By record, KC sounds like a project, but they have so much talent in Madden terms that they could easily win the division.

OAK perhaps could count, but they have the speed it takes to be good.

PHI has a terrible record but all the right Madden players, so no way.

DET perhaps. Stafford and Megatron is great; not sure how far the defense can take them.

CAR is enigmatic with a scary running game and an elite WR, plus great LB and good ends. Iffy DBs.

STL might count, though they have a star HB and good QB, along with great ends and a stud MLB and CB (and a rising start at the other CB spot).

AZ has serious QB problems, but does have a running game and Fitz. Their front 7 is murderous, and they can get by in the DB area, I think.

So who among these is the worst, in Madden terms? Or is there another team I've overlooked?

They all have pros and cons, thats for sure. my vote is the browns. average Oline, terrible QBs, average WRs, the D has some good players but no one elite just yet

CLE jumps out, but they also have Thomas and Mack, and Richardson is a grade A monster.

        Rams were a fun project.
Bradford is a beast, just needed some WRs.
Jackson didn't fit my offense, so I let him go.
        TEs are bad
        OL is bad
        DL is pretty good
        They have some good LBs
        CB is set
Safety is not, you will need to work on that.
They have a good kicker, but a not so good punter.

The Rams were the only rebuilding phase I went through, but quickly become a SB team when given a #1 WR and some safety help.

Cleveland is a fun team, imo. Dont sleep on WRs Massaquoi and Benjamin. CTH and CIT are good.

Browns are a nice rebuilding project. Never went with them but they seem like a good challenge. Raiders are also a nice choice because they really don't have a team identity. Mcfadden is good but with no weapons around him its hard to build a team. My suggestion to you is if your going to play the games then you should go with a team that is somewhat enjoyable to play with and won't give you nightmares because of all their horrible players. But if your simming then you don't need to take that into consideration

Bills, old running back, Spiller cant stay healthy, D line is good though, and Fitz isnt that good, get rid of him.

Re: Which Team is Truly a Rebuild Project

I got the game for thanksgiving break and played it non stop til I had to go back to college. I traded MJD for Tebow and Bilal Powell and I had pretty fun trying to rebuild the Jags. They need everything on D but CB's overly. Need now a HB, WR, and help on O-Line......but they do now have the greatest QB to ever breath so it goes either way When I left I was 3-9 on an All Madden sliders set. It was actually a very interesting franchise. I don't know if it was because I hadn't played in 3 months or it actually keep me coming back and happy with the position I was in. Can't wait til be done w/ the semester so I can relax and go back to that CCM

i agree, the ravens would be a good call

                    they need a #1 wr
                    TE
OL help everywhere but 1 OG and 1 OT(Yanda and Oher)
Possibly a QB depending on your opinion of flacco(i hate him so i feel they need one)
1 or 2 MLB depending on what you think of mcclain and ellerbe
                    a slot CB
                    a FS
                    and also a SS

the ravens have a lot of age on their roster and revamping them while trying to maintain a competitive edge is/was a lot of fun.

Re: Which Team is Truly a Rebuild Project

I say the Jags because of the atrocity that is their quarterback situation.

Cleveland has a good defense with the only problem being their FS, but Young is a developing talent that can be good. The Browns just need a QB and they can be deadly. Get a second tight end with them like I did and you can run with Richardson all day.

The Bills are bad but too many explosive players give them an edge. Fitzpatrick is the issue. Trade him and a few other guys for a good deep ball quarterback and you have Johnson scoring 3 times a game.

The Chiefs have Jamaal Charles. That's enough to run by defenses with.

The Jags are the only team that sticks out to me as bad enough to rebuild.
I say it every year, no matter how many people laugh at me, "The Spurs/Texans/Astros will win the championship this year!"

The jaguars qb situation in madden terms is not horrible.. Gabbert is a few upgrades away from being a nasty qb.. They have a solid defense pretty good line and a solid receiving core.. Also good tight ends.. By far not the hardest to rebuild.

Good arguments all. I love the Ravens suggestion from the Steelers crowd .

Seriously, though, their roster is full of aging vets who will be very hard to replace.

I practiced with BUF and depending on CJ's reliability, the offense can be pretty explosive.

JAX does sound like the fan favorite. MJD can only take you so far, and to win games you have to do it with the defense and very conservative play. I've surprisingly gotten a lot out of their WR. I've had to play Henne though; Gabbert is too bad to stomach.
