Moving OLB to DE
Has anyone else done this, I did it with Ryan Kerrigan in my Lions CCM. They seem to get a massive OVR boost and in game for me anyway he has being an absolute beast (Jarodd21s Red Sliders) my first year of CCM he led the league in sacks, won DPOY, won SB MVP. I would go so far to say he's my best player on my team just racks up experience. Before I've had regular 4-3 guys do okay but moving a LB to DE is the way to go...
Also wanted to add how do you get Sacks with the DT I'm really struggling and with Suh & Fairley that shouldn't be the case. I use 4-3 Under, 5-2 - Standard, Nickel - Standard, Nickel - Wide Nine. It just seems like I should be getting more than 1 or 2 sacks a season. |
Re: Moving OLB to DE
I do it all the time during games.
I've managed to get Justin Durant 18 sacks this year. It's not a bad idea at all. |
Re: Moving OLB to DE
Yeah, it works like a charm... Linebackers seem to be able to get way more pressure than regular DE's.

Re: Moving OLB to DE
I have Ware at LE on my online CCM. He is a monster. Last season, I only had 6 sacks because my scheme required him to be in coverage a lot. I get at least 2-3 a game now, a lot of times only sending 3 or 4.

All my d-line get SPD increased to an 82, but it gets real expensive to improve it more than that. |

Re: Moving OLB to DE
I thought there were no position switches? Or do you guys just mean via the depth chart?
I would love to move an OLB to a DE or start a franchise with a 3-4 team and convert them to 4-3, but unfortunately the game won't let you and running a 4-3 team with 3-4 personnel gets a little tough with roster space. Quote:
