Re: Does Alabama have a Shot at Three in a Row?
It will probably happen. What else can you expect from nick saban? But honestly my pick for the west next year is Texas am and if they win the sec next year I would pick them for a national title. If Florida actually finds an offense in the off season they are right up there as well. Let's not forget about Ohio state either, was pretty impressed with them this year honestly. -
Re: Does Alabama have a Shot at Three in a Row?
My heart wants it to be true. However, my pick for the SEC championship game next year is A&M and UGA. That's just my initial way too early to be way too early pick.
I WANT it to be Alabama and Florida, with Alabama going on to grab the threepeat, but I seriously doubt it will happen.I'm in the fight to cure cystic fibrosis, my life depends on it!

I don't know, it'll be hard but if any team can I think it will be this team led by Nick Saban. I hope they do but if not what we have seen the past 5 years from Alabama has been nothing short of amazing. Remember we made it to the SEC Championship game against Florida in 08 and lost by only 10. If we had won that game we are probably talking about 4 in 5 years tonight and our second repeat.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Re: Does Alabama have a Shot at Three in a Row?
There are some good teams in the SEC next year. Alabama could have lost to LSU and did lose to Texas A&M. Both of those schools are always good. Also, a lot of that NFL-packed offensive line is leaving.NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)
NBA: Indiana Pacers (42-13)
MLB: Cincinnati Reds (0-0)
NHL: Detroit Red Wings (26-20-12)
NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers (FB: 1-11, BB: 15-12), Michigan Wolverines (FB: 7-6, BB: 19-7, H: 15-10-3)Comment

Re: Does Alabama have a Shot at Three in a Row?
They have a good shot.
People bring up A&M, but that depends on if they can get some guys to stay there. If those OT's leave, I think they might have a little bit tougher time, especially with Moore leaving.
Nobody from the Big 12 is going to be competing for the title next year, maybe Oregon?
I also don't think anybody in the Big10 has a shot of winning.
And Notre Dame, yeah, I think they regress, maybe 9-3/8-4.7 National Championships
43 Conference Championships
152 All-Americans
5 Heisman Trophy Winners
#1 in weeks ranked #1 in AP Poll
#1 in weeks ranked top 5 in AP Poll
#1 in wins/winning percentage since 1946

Ohio State should have a very good shot at making the title game with how mediocre our schedule is.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Do they have a shot? Yes, a very good one. As long as Saban is there, they will be in the running.Through music, you can live forever...TEAMS: San Diego Chargers, San Diego Padres, Notre Dame Fighting IrishComment

Re: Does Alabama have a Shot at Three in a Row?
Yes they do, mostly because this year was supposed to be a "down" year by their standards with everything they lost on the defensive side of the ball.
Losing Barrett Jones, Chance Warmack, Dee Milliner, Robert Lester, and likely Jessie Williams, will hurt, but they return a lot.Comment

Re: Does Alabama have a Shot at Three in a Row?
I see/hear a lot of folks talking about Ohio State next year. They struggled to go undefeated against a pretty weak schedule this year. How many games did they end up winning in overtime or at the end? My point is that while they were undefeated, they were also VERY lucky. IMO they don't go undefeated next year and after a season ending loss at Michigian Urban Meyer cries, tells us it's a tough conference, and retires with chest pains
I also think A&M is going to struggle a bit next year. Teams will have adjusted to Manziel, they lose a lot on both sides of the ball, etc. I think Georgia probably has the best chance of anyone to dethrone 'Bama with Murray coming back."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

This is what scares me. They won a second straight championship in a "rebuilding" year.Yes they do, mostly because this year was supposed to be a "down" year by their standards with everything they lost on the defensive side of the ball.

As much as I hate Bama, I have to respect how absolutely dominant they are. They're essentially the defensive version of mid-90s Nebraska.Boston Red Sox
