I love on NCAA 09 for ps2.. you have to watch out for where they are on the field because they will always make a big play.

yea, its kind of a bummer. As an editor, I have switched a lot of teams impact players. I feel like all it does is let people know who is supposed to be the star player. lol I miss the old gen days when the impact guys truly made a difference.

I miss having the option to choose who my impact players are, Sometimes on the field my "impact player" isn't even an impact player but he's a senior so the cpu makes him a impact player...

How does the CPU choose one's Impact players? Is it whoever has the highest awareness?

This Gen, it does seem to be more of a class thing.

Previous Gen, it was whoever performed the best.

I miss them having an impact as well. I miss the days of knowing the CPU had a stud defender and you better try and avoid him or you'll pay for it.

They need to get rid of it because it does not work. Especially when after my first game of the year, both QBs play in a blowout and both play well and then both are considered my team's "impact players".

EA needs to fix it or eliminate it, period. It worked before so I don't understand how it just disappeared.

This same sentence has been used for multiple things in the transition from last gen NCAA to this gen NCAA.

Maybe it's just me but the A.I.'s impact players have a massive impact. Breaking more tackles is the biggest thing I see. My impact players usually don't do much. Desmond Morgan is my impact MIKE and whenever he comes up against an impact RB, he can never bring him down despite being a beast of a player (75 str, 91 tak, 92 power, 95 pur, 87 prc).
