*Top prospects from '04-Present: I've included prospects all the way beginning in 2004 in order to give the user a longer amount of time to play the set. If they were under 25, they were kept in the set (Jay Bruce, Yonder Alonso, etc.) and if they were 26 and over I made a created player for them for their 2004 age. Created players up to the '06 Draft were included, no matter the age (Clayton Kershaw, for example). The only exception is the Rays, where I kept all of the current players at their same age in order to have them contend in earlier years of a franchise.
*Various minor leaguers from current roster sets, assigned to their '04 teams. If I could export them and they played in '04, they're in the roster.
*Players that were in the minor leagues in '04 but are above the age of 26 are on their original teams. For example, Jeff Karstens is in the Yankees minor league system at age 29.
*If a player was on the team in '04 and in The Show, they were not exported over. For example, BJ Upton was only 19 in '04 but I kept him in the game because he was on that Rays team.
*Computer generated minor leaguers had their ages scaled between 26-30 and had their ratings dropped. I wanted to keep their unique names in the game but make them a non factor. Therefore, I made their ratings low in order for them never to reach MLB and I made them old enough not to improve but not to old to retire.
*Computer generated players are adjusted so there is 15 SP and 6 position players at each position, for each level of the organization.
*The rosters are set for the end of the season, meaning Orlando Cabrera is on the Red Sox, for example.
If anyone has anything to contribute in terms of rating players or completely filling out the minor leagues, feel free to download the roster, make some changes, and upload it back on the fault. I just wanted to share the roster and let everyone enjoy it.
