    Career mode club goals

So I just entered my second season with Tottenham after achieving my club's primary goal last season of qualifying for the Champion's league.

This season the club goals and/or expectations are for me to win the league, Champions league, and FA Cup... Which obviously are totally ridiculous.

So I'm not worried ab Champions or FA Cup as they're secondary objectives but my question is if I don't achieve any of the objectives should i just assume I'm going to be fired?

Its a really solid squad so I think I can win the FA and likely finish at least in the top three of the BPL but will that even help?

Any insight on this would be appreciated.

I played a Manchester United CM. Same goals of winning EPL, CL, and the FA. Finished 4th in the EPL, Round of 16 in the CL, and Round of 16in the FA. I was surprised that i did not get fired.

You should be ok as long as you are in the top 4 of the EPL because you still qualify for the CL.

I'm in the same boat. 2nd year with Spurs.

        First year: Qualify for CL
        Second year: WIN EVERYTHING!

I finished 9th in the EPL once with Manchester United and didn't get the axe. I'm assuming I could have, but didn't so that should give you some hope.

I actually find it really easy to win the league. Only Chelsea, City, Liverpool, and for some arbitrary reason Crystal Palace/QPR (Whichever one doesn't get relegated) give me any challenge.

That being said, the champions cup is no joke. I lot of the time if I advance it's by a single goal or by the away goals rule (Which the commentators will comically talk about how badly I beat them on aggregate).

But whenever I fail to win the league the board seems to have an "Oh well, football is hard" attitude and keeps me aboard.

I'm assuming it has a lot to do with which difficulty you choose for the board to have at the beginning of your career mode setup

I'm not sure. In the end we finished 3rd thanks to a last day draw to QPR (seriously some developer must be a QPR fanatic!) but I was kept on anyway. But of course the goal is to win the triple here in the next season.

Haha it's part of this years game not just with QPR. I use guadalajara in Liga MX, I had an outstanding undefeated season with most goals and less received and then out of nowhere I get dominated 2-0 vs a lower team named San Luis. That match is always tougher than the ones against my rivals! Lol

If I remember correctly, on the email they send you with the club goals, I think it says that they'll mostly judge you by your league performance. So I'm assuming that even though you do well in the league but not so good at the cups, you'll be signed again

I think I have a little glitch in my season objective with SC Bastia.

I started managing Bastia when they were in Ligue 2, and after finally playing through a full season I finished third - which promotes me to Ligue 1.

Now I'm in Ligue 1 and my season objective is to get promoted. Get promoted? Promoted to what? I'm already in Ligue 1 now!!!
