Does anybody really listen to Clark Kellogg?

I'm in the middle of my Suns Pistons game, and all of a sudden, Kellogg is off on a tangent talking about how he got to meet Barack Obama twice, and how fortunate he was to get the chance to talk Basketball with the President.
I'm like.. Wha??
How the heck did he get to THAT topic?

i like the random talking. It makes the commentary feel more organic than other games. Even though you are going to hear it again but its better than most other sports games.

As we all know, the game is smart enough to recognize holidays due to the date on our console. Maybe its treating President Obama's upcoming inauguration to something similar?

Other than that, I don't see how he'd be brought up in a Pistons/Suns game.

Lool, I just like him because of his rants and how long he stays on the subject. Sometimes he's not always right, but he does make decent points and I love how more than Basketball is talked about when it comes to him and his partner. (Forgot his name, sorry.)

I feel that he is a Heat fan though >_>...If so he loses points but besides that it could fill the 2k void with random rants.

Steve Kerr i think is his partner but it would be refreshing if we had other commentators every other game gets a bit boring if you're playing lets say you play the Heat twice they repeat everything they said in the first game

I'd like to see a system where they implement two different broadcast types and teams. I think NCAA Basketball 10 did this. But they had an ESPN broadcast and a CBS broadcast, and they had a broadcast team for both of them. I think that'd a nice thing to bring to a future 2k. Go out and get the TNT rights and use their broadcast, and get ESPN's rights and use theirs, and have separate commentators. It'd keep the commentary fresh and you'll hear things you haven't heard in the game all year.

Steve and Jeff? I think Jeff's partner name starts with a D, I think dave or something lol but if it is Steve it doesn't matter, I just like Jeff's random rants, and then he goes back to regular commentating on the game. I do also hope they would have a couple more commentators but don't think they would bother with it.

I've noticed the random talks when there is a blowout or when one is under way. Also playing a boring game without highlights can get the commentators to go off topic.
