NCAA14 Custom Conferences Alignment Thread

With the WAC now dead, there are only 10 conferences in NCAA14, which allows every conference to have a championship game. No more having to decide 2 conferences only on conference record!

I've uploaded an image file of what I plan to do. This assumes that every bowl location is in the game and available for CCG usage; that is unlikely, but since we don't know what bowls are in I chose to use my #1 choice in the image file.

A quick observation as far as CCGs go...for the conferences that already have a CCG stadium, why not use those instead of Bowl Game stadiums?

I like how you have the Pac-12. With my format, I am going to replace Colorado with BYU: So it would be: Washington, Washinton St, Oregon, Oregon St, Utah, BYU in the North Division. Colorado and Nebraska are moving back to the Big 12 in my dynasty.

You think there's only going to be 10 Conferences.

Knowing the way the NCAA works with approving stuff for the game, I'll be shocked if the WAC isn't in the game.

WAC is dead in real life so I expect them to be gone.

No more deciding conference champ on record? That worked well for the B1G this year. LOL

So, you want even conferences with independent teams as well. I don't see the point in moving some teams back (aTm) and leaving others in their future home (UofL). That is the beauty of the game though. I just want to be able to shtcan the Big East and ACC or any other conference Notre Dame tries to get over on.

I hope they do away with having to have at least one independent school. Messed up my custom conference's this year.

As far as Notre Shame they are like any other parasite. Once they have killed their host they move to another. Good luck ACC.

The WAC would have only 2 members had they played football. Allowing a 2-team conference would still let the other 10 conferences have 12 members.

As for the CCG stadium question, that's a quirk of my alignments. I prefer to have them all set to bowls.

Wow, I knew the death of the WAC would make creating custom conferences tough, but I didn't know it'd be this tough. Working with the teams west of the Mississippi is damn near impossible now. I somehow ended up with SJSU in the Pac 12 and UNLV in the same conference as Nebraska. I think I'm gonna puke.
