Madden NFL 14 Release Date Set For August 27th - Madden 25?
 

The Madden NFL 14 release date has been set for August 27th, 2013. It will mark the 25th anniversary of the game, dating back to 1989.

On the official Madden website, it mentions more details are coming soon for Madden 25 (name change? nah... Couldn't be, could it?). Maybe we see something during Super Bowl XLVII.

Would be kind of sick if they went with numbers for Madden from now on.

I'm a fan of roman numerals, so Madden XXV wouldn't look bad at ALL on a cover.

Interesting, kind of wondering what direction madden is going in?

A while back Mike Young tweeted about what kind of classic stadiums we would like to see in Madden. I wonder if that will be part of this 25th anniversary edition, classic rosters/stadiums?

Paid DLC....can't wait. Nice way to end a console generation...add in all the coolest things you can think of and charge for each piece.:wedgie:

They should call this Madden 25 and then next year go with Madden 14 and be in line with the correct year.

This can only be a bad joke.
