Re: Help: Real Player % vs User
User: Your timing on shot release
Real: CPU releases at whatever time automatically based off ratings.
Totally up to you. Some people consider Real Player to be "cheating", but it's better for Sim B-Ball.Comment

Re: Help: Real Player % vs User
Better for Sim stats, not better for simulating playing basketball.
OP, I look at it like this:
If I wanted the game to be as close as possible to watching an average NBA game on TV, I might prefer Real Player %, but I don't feel like unnecessarily giving up any small element of control, or the need to reduce the possibility of statistical outliers in games, so I stick with User.Last edited by Streaky McFloorburn; 02-01-2013, 01:19 AM."The power of accurate observation is often called cynicism, by those who don't have it." - George Bernard ShawComment

What I want/think the game should be is a combination of the two. My release should influence the shot, but the degree of error (or lack thereof) should take into account things like: defensive coverage; hot/cold spot and; the shooters abilities.PSN: KarlMarx24Comment

User Timing is the combination of two. 2k has explained it multiple times.Comment

Re: Help: Real Player % vs User
I really like Real%,the only that bothers me about is there's just too many missed open shots on my side.
I feel like there should be somewhat of a slight boost, when your man is wide open. However with the right sliders/roster I feel I get what I need from user timing.
Would like real % changed/updated a little next game.

Re: Help: Real Player % vs User
it already is
i dont think many people realize that.. which is why so many complain about 'perfect' releases not going inComment

Re: Help: Real Player % vs User
Yeah but if Ray Allen releases the ball" perfect " wide open shouldn't it go in all the time?
I mean IRL its not a perfect release unless the shot is going to fall right ?#1 Laker fan

Re: Help: Real Player % vs User
Just so you know, Ray Allen air balled an open 3 the other night against the Nets. It even happens to the best of em.'Only The Strong Survive'Comment

Re: Help: Real Player % vs User
Yeah It probably wasn't a perfect release either...
It wasnt perfect release if it air balled.
Personally when I ball I don't consider any miss a perfect releaseLast edited by Rockie_Fresh88; 02-01-2013, 12:52 PM.#1 Laker fan

Re: Help: Real Player % vs User
If a guy has an A in outside shooting and is WIDE OPEN and has a Perfect release I don't see why the shot should miss. If it misses it wasn't a perfect release.#1 Laker fan

Re: Help: Real Player % vs User
if that were the case.. everyone would be getting 30s every year in the 3pt shootout (which no one EVER has)Comment
