    Re: ps4 and commentary

when a batter is at the plate I'm definitely looking forward to more statistics, mentions of past trades, past accolades, rivalries, description of playing style ....anything and everything that is conducive to creating an environment that imitates real color commentary!

EVERYTHING about The Show will be improved with the jump to PlayStation 4. Guaranteed.

Hopefully this will be the case for all sports games.

I'm not so sure about this. Graphics and especially aliasing methods will improve but commentary and presentation it's up to devs. MLB2k12 has great presentation, commentary and statistics on PS3. So, it's not only down to system specs. SCEA needs to focus on commentary/presentation/on-the-fly stats.

Maybe all the fans will be separate individuals.

I hope that you are right, especially for Madden.

I used to love that game on the PS2, but for some odd reason I can't stand it on PS3...

That's really my biggest complaint in sports games. I'm sure they won't all be different, but duplicate fans can be spread out much further that it wouldn't be as noticeable.

Other things that will happen for sure are improved stats and what I could only assume would be much faster simming. It takes way to long to get from the World Series to Spring Training. I would assume character models will also be more detailed. They could also extend the depth of the background with more detail outside of the stadiums themselves. These types of things leads me to believe that it probably won't be until 2015 that we really start to see how great this series can look.
