You basically "rank up" like you do in any shooter or RPG. Nothing comes from leveling up other than in the past you needed to be a certain level to create leagues, some people will only play against certain levels yatta yatta. Basically its just a show of progress beyond Wins and Losses.

I wish you could actually 'purchase' things with your Xp. Having to unlock bats, gloves, maybe even classic batting stances, stadiums, just like MVP 05 would be awesome.

Eh I hated the VC for NBA 2k. Ruined the game for me.

I think it would be fine if done right. NBA 2k's implementation was awful because of how much everything cost. You earned so little VC that the only viable way to unlock items was to spend actual money.

That was just a placemarker. The code for that was not in last year's game... I would assume it will be accumulative, going forward though.

lol exactly. If they made it better, more people would like it.

VC on NBA 2K was stupid cause of prices. Like people said in that forum...1 years salary in the game can barely pay for a pair of socks(literally! Cause in that game, a pair of socks cost as much as the money you make in that game for a single season)

Related to this..I just finished a show live game and earned some Xp points. After the game I tried to check the amount of xp points I gained and wasn't able to find my total anywhere. I checked my game history and user profile and didn't see any points. Does it take a while to update?
