strikeout totals way too low is franchise

Just simmed a season to make sure all the numbers were realistic and noticed the strikeout totals were way too low. Houston led the league with 969 ks which is only an average of just under 6ks a game. League average was under 5ks per game. The real league avg. In 2012 7.56k a game. Strasburg led league with 181ks. Looks like a pretty big bug that will need to be patched. Walk totals were also a tad on the low side, but not nearly as bad as Ks.
All other stats seem to be on par with real life league avgs.

P.s. On the plus side looks like they fixed the low RISP numbers that have plagued this feanchise for years. Fixes one thing but broke another.

Try simming another season before you draw any conclusions. Anomalies happen.

I've had 4 RTTS seasons with the league leader in k's being sub-200 for every one.

I started to notice this as well, but was hoping it would even out as the season finished.

Did you notice anything with SB's? I saw a few guys that were on pace for 100.

Just ran two more simmed seasons and can confirm this is definatively an issue. In both seasons the league average was right around 5 ks a game. In all 3 seasons there was never a single team that averages more than 6ks a game (972ks in a full season). Hopefully this can be patched. This is a huge issue!

I simmed three seasons and I saw the same faulty stat results with K's and to a lesser degree, walks.

K leaders went 178, 192, 181 in three successive simmed seasons.

Not sure this is something they'll be able to fix but it definitely takes away from the realism.

SB totals seem to be fine in all 3 seasons the league leaders had between 60-70 steals. BB league averages seem spot on, but they seem too evenly distributed among the league, have yet to have a player break 100bb in a season. There are a ton of guys bunched up with between 70-90 bb. Needs to be a bigger descrepancy with high plate discipline guys like bautista and fielder. League leader should always have over 100 walks.

It's about 10-15% off of where it should be... It also may be a ratings issue. k/9 for pitchers should go up and hitters visibility and discipline should decrease.

Did you say the Astros were in first place for something?

Yes, please pump up the simmed K/9 for pitchers.

Scale it to be more broad. 99=16k/9 and 1=2k/9 or something.

I would love to be able to created some stikeout machine relievers!

No that would be houston batters. Sorry to burst your bubble.
