Franchise/Season with all Cyber Faces

I posted this in another thread, but agreed with a user's suggestion to start a new one so more people can see this option.

For those that want to play a franchise or season with all cyber faces, it is possible this year. After you select your team(s), turn fantasy draft on in the options menu. On the draft screen, before it starts, exit out with circle, and there you go, everyone has a cyber face. Not sure if someone else has posted this trick already, but I think I may go this route this year, I like the continuity.

I'm not sure why anyone would want all cyber faces? Not being a jerk or saying this with any contempt, just wondering why you'd want all cyber faces? I am kind of upset that they did that this year, I'm all about realism, and cyber faces don't convey a huge sense of realism! Just wondering your opinion on why cyber faces is the way to go!

All cyber faces is the best way. I hate getting two or three years in and seeing guys not wearing the hats of the team they're on... talk about unrealistic

I understand that, but unrealistic to me is the exact definition of "cyber" faces. The fact that they are not real pictures. Like I said I'm not being a jerk or trying to tell anyone they are wrong, just wanting opinions is all!

I am a fan of all cyber faces. Great job by SmilingAssassin on finding this.

I like all cyber faces because of the consistancy. I like how SCEA did it, but this way they all look the same and it flows better, IMO. It is a video game, so its not going to be completley realistic.

There is no right or wrong way, Its all about what each person likes, and its nice to have options.

I prefer having all cyber faces. To me having real pictures mixed with cyber faces of generated players was jarring. Now having all have cyber faces makes it a more immersive experience.

Throw me in the group liking cyber faces. Looking at guys wearing the wrong cap looks poor. I want my Yankees sporting the NY!

all cyber faces for me!!!... The hat thing is not the only reason... During the game when you look at a portrait... the cyber guy is also dressed in whatever uniform the team is wearing that day...

I think I like the mix. I'd rather have all pictures, of course, but the cyberface is a good alternative for when guys change teams.

Plus, the new players all have cyberfaces since there are no pictures of them. It makes sense for when you get a couple years down the road or if trades are made.

I know it sounds stupid, but I always had a weird mental block about picking up players with certain hats on (yes, Boston included). I always thought it was weird looking having a Red Sox hat on in the Yankees manage roster. Even when I traded for Brian Matusz (from San Diego), it looked odd having his Baltimore cap on.

Cheers guys, glad to see people will make use of this. It's going to be nice once the OSFM are out and all the prospects can have the same type of portraits as the MLB players.

To me, it's actually very realistic to have a player wearing his former team's hat. It's a reminder that a player is a recent addition to the team - and it's just like I'm used to seeing many baseball cards, team media guides / annual magazines or any print publication. I actually find it slightly jarring to see brand new additions already having an updated photo!

This "update" is extremely disappointing to me - I'd much rather have a real out of date photo than a fake-looking cyberface that makes it look like a fictional player generated by the game or a guy whose likeness is not licensed. Especially for minor league player - who really minds if a guy's photo has him in the parent club's cap?

That's awesome nice work around. I'm assuming we turn on the feature once you select fantasy draft but we don't turn it back off if you change it nice.
