Have you EVER won in a rundown?

I feel like its literally impossible on The show to get safe when your in a pickle situation. I know it's not common to win in real life, but I mean come on. Of the hundreds of times I've been in one in the show, I have never been safe. Has anyone? I don't think it's possible on this game. If so, I would like to hear

Just the other day, I was safe after the 3rd baseman lofted one into right center field. That's the only way I've ever made it out of a pickle, on an error.

I made it for the first time ever in 2013 w/ Pedroia. They didn't throw it away either

I was safe the other day because someone threw it into the dugout but never been able to escape without them making an error.

I honestly don't think I've ever seen a pickle in the show, which is likely because I play with auto base running.

If you have already been in hundreds of run downs, I don't think you're doing it right. :-). Seriously though, it is possible (as others have posted in this thread)...just very unlikely against ML fielders.

As others have said, the only way I've been safe is after an errant throw.

I beat one just the other day. I rounded 3B hard but decided I would be out so turned back. I was a bit late in that decision, so got in a pickle between 3B and home. I made them throw back and forth a couple times and, before I knew it, I was heading back to 3B and no one was covering the base, so I made it back safely. I was pretty surprised, but this does happen every so often in the majors, so it was nice to see in this game...

Not sure if this entirely applies to the situation... but it is pretty damn funny.

I was playing my buddy in an online game. He had a runner on 1st and 3rd and I just knew he was going to try and take 2nd so I pitch out. He did try and take second, but he's also really new to the game... so he accidently sent both runners.

So 3rd breaks for home while Carlos Santana hangs on to the ball - and certainly looks like he's got the plate covered.

Dude slides and makes it straight past Santana to score.

I've personally never done it, but my buddy did during an online co-op. He got stuck rounding 3rd. While in the pickle I advanced to 2nd, shortly after he was able to return to an uncovered 3rd.

Yup. Just last night, in fact. Got caught in a pickle between 2nd and 3rd. The throw to 2nd was a little off as I slid back in, so the 2nd baseman making the tag didn't quite get it down i time. Safe.

I actually have a few different times, mainly because I stayed in them long enough. It was never because I out-smarted the computer so to speak, but because if you keep in it long enough, they do, on occasion, make an errant throw. It has happened in a couple big situations too, where I am like, 'Crap, what did I just do!' And then they throw it away, which is one of the best feelings.
