Would you buy a used 20g piano style PS3 just for the show?

Thinking of buying one from Craigslist for 100.00. I know it lacks WiFi and HDMI. This late in the console not sure I want a brand new PS3.

I think if you look a little harder you can get a used slim with a bigger hard drive for about $150.

You might want to look around a bit more, you should be able to get a used PS3 slim for around that price range maybe $120-130ish with a much bigger hard drive. If you want to buy the digital copy the 20GB hard drive wouldn't even be big enough. Even with the disk copy the min install is 5GB and your better off to use the 10GB install as it speeds up load times significantly. Not even sure how much useable space in on the 20GB model, on my 120GB its only got 111GB usuable.

My mistake the 20gb does have HDMI and does not have WiFi. I bought it btw 50.00 bucks!

If the machine doesn't start going wacky on you, then that's a pretty good buy. 20 is plenty of space for the Show (optional 10 GB install) and maybe another game or two.

damn. at $50 you might as well spring for a higher capacity hdd. use 1 with specs like the ones they use in the slims or ss's so it has less of a chance of overheating. you wont last that long on 20gb these days. youre going to want to do the 10gb install on the show and after all the updates and all it will go up. and you dont want a hdd to be too full. unless your old ps3 dies and you have a pull already.
