Best NFL Head Coach 06 Player?
 

I love all the different draft classes in HC 06. Who would say are the best players, if you still play this game?

I can barely even remember that game. HC 09 is so much better.

I loved both versions of the game. I wore out HC 06, my ps2 version freezes if I try to play it. I would have to say that nobody can compete with Reggie Bush though. The guy is unstoppable, and he plays until mid to late 30's. I always trade up to get him, because he can anchor the offense for so long.

I always found Reggie to be a sub-par RB, but that could just be my playbook. I prefer running between the tackles or just off-tackle. Outside runs get stopped too easily by LBs and DBs that EA developers gave too high a SPD rating to. The only outside run that seemed to work for me was Goal Line- "Strong Toss." If employed from the 7 yard line in, it was almost unstoppable. The AI always pulls the CBs in tight to the box, leaving the outside free for the RB.
As for Reggie, he tends to dance too much while waiting for openings inside. Even when I give him the order to "power thru the line."
And, his agent's asking price in his rookie season is too high.
I will, however, pick him up as a UFA in Season 4 and convert him to TE. As a receiver, Reggie shines.




BTW: On my previous post, I forgot the MOST dominant player in HC 06: TE Vernon Davis.

In my experience RB Cameron Miles is the best offensive player in the game. Also QB Drake Winters is a Legend.
Dexter Curry and Levon Proctor are the best safeties you could draft. Brian Hixon at CB

WR - Dan Mayberry.

Best player the game could possibly offer. From PS2 console. Don't remember his draft day attributes and I don't have a save from then to refer to, but his current attributes at age 31 are OVR 99, SPD 99, CTH 99, AWR 99, CTH 99, AWR 99, RAC 99, RCT 99, AGL 99, ACC 99, JMP 96, PAV 99, KRT 99, STM 99. He was 21 as a rookie and the stats you see above were all pretty much already there on draft day; so had him a long time. Following year after Mayberry I picked up WR Boyd Turner and those two were a decade long tandem of perfection that paired with TE Vernon Davis (best TE I've ever seen in the game)...my Niners were unstoppable.
