    Pitch Breakdown

I love the breakdown of what percentage of pitches you have thrown throughout the game that gets displayed. I usually see this after 80 pitches or so and have come to find out I usually end up throwing the fastball 60% the slider 20% and the curve 20%

Just wondering what other players percentages usually are or if you even pay attention to it?

    Re: Pitch Breakdown

Generally over 50% fastballs and the rest varies based upon the game. Sometimes it will pop up and I'll realize I've thrown one particular pitch like 4% of the time and it makes me change up my game a bit.

      Re: Pitch Breakdown

For me it really depends on the pitcher. The whole power arm vs. finesse/ control guys.

For example... (I play with the Giants) I throw a much higher percentage of breaking pitches with Sergio Romo than I do with Runzler or Santiago Casilla.

I try to pitch to the pitchers style.
