Hey all,

I am making a roster for personal use that I thought I would share with you all.

I personally do not like how many 99 ratings there are in the default SCEA rosters and it has inspired me to re rate the entire league and scale certain ratings and address what I feel have been mis-rated players (in both directions). I have most of the ratings for the entire league determined, it is just the process of inputting them into the game. I also often use fantasy draft mode so I am hoping the re-rates will improve some of the logic behind when players are drafted.

Because I am editing all of the ratings of all SCEA players I will also be addressing the ratings of prospects to mesh well with the new ratings. I also am not one to complain when I see the top prospects from now near the top of the statistical leader boards a few years down the roads.

I have yet to decide if I will implement pitch edits or do any stance/delivery edits. The first release of the roster will have only re-rates.

I am also working on "Big Klu's Time Machine Project" as well. So this is perfect practice for editing ratings. Just waiting for my buddy to finish up faces so I can implement ratings into the roster. Hoping to have this roster out in the meantime. Already have edited all catcher ratings, moving on to First Baseman!

Any chance you can post the top 10 or so players at each position for a preview of what's coming?

Beds, are you going to roll with the V2 update from Ridin when he fixes the mistakes from V1 and updates opening day rosters? If not, I would suggest downloading the roster from the OSFM corrections thread because he has already adjusted a lot of the mistakes that were found. Can't wait for this roster!

Unfortunately since I already started I doubt that I will turn around and start over, but what I will do is personally make all of those corrections once I complete the roster (I am sure we will find more corrections that need to be made, always do!)

I'll make sure it is as up to date as possible!

Also, (this goes for everyone), if there was any potential rating you disagreed with let me know. I personally am a little more liberal with potential just because I would much rather have a player I know in year 2016 of my franchise than a CPU generated player, and lets be honest, we can't tell the future on how these prospects will pan out.

At the very least I'd like to give people the option to use a carbon copy player with a higher or lower potential

Awesome!! Are you using a Ratings Calculator at all?

Yes, I used Kritter's Calculator in the past and found the AVG and HR numbers to be on par with what to expect. Problem was that it was a 1 year calculator so I am meshing together 3 year averages.

A lot of the work will be trial and error once I have finished the hitters and pitchers, but similar to NBA 2K I won't stop until I feel the sim statistics are where they should be

Will you be adjusting players positions as well? Not all OFers play all 3 OF positions, some secondary positions are outdated for some players and so on.

Yes it is definitely possible!

Hey B. Just a quick thought, Mike Napoli is no longer a catcher, he is strictly a 1B on the Red Sox now. No more catching due to his hip condition.
