Re: tomahawk chop
Yea it's sad. Even though the 90s are a memory. Braves fans know it's still a big part of the Turner field experience. Love the game with or without it.Comment

Re: tomahawk chop
I wanted to start it in STL for Kyle Lohse strikeouts but I'm not crossing that line. Or that polarizing lol Even tho my full intention is pure fun.I play MLB exclusively with my cousin. Usually looking for info on Franchises. We played minor league baseball as 9-10 YOs on the Zephyrs.Comment

Re: tomahawk chop
I thought the fans still did the chopping motion for time to time.. Though I haven't really paid attention to it in a while.
I'm a huge Braves fan, but I'm not a big fan of the tomahawk chop. So maybe I just didn't notice whenever they took it out. Now, more than everComment

Re: tomahawk chop
If SCEA wants to enhance presentation, I would suggest adding more fan/crowd closeups. Imagine seeing cutaways that show fans doing:
- Tomahawk chop
- Heckling players
- Doing the "wave"
- Just sitting there eating or taking pictures or texting
That is definitely a missing element of the virtual broadcast when comparing it to a real life broadcast on TV.
I forgot what game(s) had this element coded into the game, but the ones that did were really cool. Was it College Hoops 2k8? Or maybe MVP Baseball 2005 or All-Star Baseball 2004?Comment

Re: tomahawk chop
I know that NFL 2K5 had cutaways to fans ordering hot dogs or a guy nudging his friend to let him know he's on the Jumbotron. Madden tried copying it for a while, but not too well.
I remember the ASB series had a number of special fan sprites in most stadiums; the game didn't cut away to them, but they were easily seen in the background when the batters walked to the plate. Turner Field fans did the Chop. Dodger Stadium fans were talking on cell phones. Fans in the Metrodome waved Homer Hankies. I remember it was either ASB 03 or 04 where some Fenway fans were wearing "Yankees Suck" shirts... which was surprising being that Derek Jeter was the cover athlete. When the Giants come to town, it's Bye Bye Baby...Comment
