Odd issues with my copy of MLB 13

I bought MLB 13 on launch day and was enjoying playing it up until last week. All of a sudden every aspect of the game menus (rosters, sliders, etc.) kept shuffling as if I was holding down R2, if that makes sense.

I forgot about this problem and didn't play until just now, when I noticed the same problem AND all my game data was deleted, as the opening screen asked me what level to start at (Beginnier, Experienced, Advanced), and all my files were gone, including OSFM and my Road To The Show character which used the 12,000 training points I got for pre-ordering the game from GameStop.

Even more frustrating, the Jukebox somehow remembered the music I imported and plays all my tracks I added before the game started hiccuping. If all my data was gone, so would my music, right?

I'd like to add, thanks to my friend, that I was playing The Show Live right before the issues started. Apparently it's been having a lot of problems so maybe that could help with trying to figure this all out.
