WHY!!!??? does this game not have directional passing

even waaaaay back 5 years ago this gave me a headache on 2k8. and we still dont have it! you got a man open down low and the only way to get him the ball is with a directional quick pass. and you cant get him the ball for a quick score. they always pass it to the wrong guy. it would be very usefull passing the ball around the key. please 2k add this feature

u dont have time. man is open on a cut or gets open down low and u dont have time for icon passing

When passing look at how a circle pops up under the player your passing to. Then note at how if two players are in the same area that pushing the stick farther will pass to the farther man, while pushing less on the stick will pass to the closer person (of the two in the same area).

You can also change the type of passing in the controller settings are, there is a directional passing or a zone passing I don't remember what the setting is, but look for it and play around.

Also RB + RS will do a quick pass when you need one.

Good example how people don't take their time to understand how the game works and ignore practicing before jumping and thinking there are bugs all over the place.

thanks man! i couldnt figure out how that worked i thot u had to press a pass icon first. and still this game needs directional passing

Right stick passing is in the game, has been in there for the last two years. It's my preference when I get in the lane with a guard and dish to the open man, it's pretty accurate too.

Directional passing is actually in the game. Move the left stick in the direction you want to go when you pass. I do it all the time.
