    MyCareer Big Man Help

Just started a mycareer as a center and have had trouble grabbing rebounds and getting touches. Any advice as a big man?

I play for the Heat so that may have something to do with the touches

It sucks, no fun at all playing as a center in this mode.

My most recent MyCareer is a Centre and man i love it.
Ive been a pure PG guy for the last few years and wanted something different.
For starters establish a low-post game. Be famililar with all the moves and counter-moves to become a real presence down low.
My sig skills are Scrapper, Brick Wall, Post Proficiency, Finisher & Eraser.
I sometimes throw posterizer of when i feel like dunking all over the place.
Setting screens on offense is fun with brick wall, especially if you dont want to hog the majority of the points and like to get other people going.
E.g Im at the warriors and i am half way through the 3rd season averageing 26pts 11.5 rbds & 2.9 blocks, while Curry averages 28pts & 11 Assists per game.
Dont look to score every possesion. This way you can establish your body down low to grab those offensive boards.
When it comes to boards remember to always box out and be patient. Most people get excited as soon as the ball hits the rim and attempt a rebound, this will only work at a small percentage of the time. Patience is key! Look to increase your Hands & Vertical attributes before your rebounding attributes (sounds stupid but works) and get Scrapper ASAP.

If your looking for touches, set some picks and roll away.
Once your low post offense is high enough then you can run a quick post play on the quick play menu so you can go to work.
From here you can play your man or even engage another player to cut to the basket to look for the assist.
Also "run best play" keeps things interesting unless you let the CPU run plays all the time.
Another thing is to change the play type to "Simulation" this way the CPU looks to play a little more to the post. Just beaware of your stamina!

Beware of Stamina is right! Its crucial in the 4th. I have the Gatorade Sig Skill and its helped in the 1st. I can run up and down the court with ease and get my 10+ points before doing the picks and screens for my team mates allowing them to shoot while going for the rebounds. I have to agree with Smokie as well about Rebounding. I was too fast to jump the gun on attempts and it showed. I have been chilling back and letting them come and its been much better. I am excited to hear that others are doing Centers and enjoying them as well.
Won't change my sig until the Seattle Seahawks win the Super Bowl...wait, that happened ! Let's win another one! Go Hawks!!

There is a complete separate thread dedicated to bigmen (PFs and Centers). Also if I may:

Check my channel, I have lots of tips videos (for rebounding too) for a PF, which is basically the same as a center. I also played for the Heat in my first season.
