The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.

Maybe its just me but how will you be able to pull of combos and run however you want when there is still pre determined animations? No matter what you do it will just throw you into a certain animation so it will never be free flowing running IMO.
Any takes on this?
A system that does not run on animations, something thing that is not pre determined before you hit a button.
My theory is if you have animations than no matter the rating of the player the animations will take over the and make the decision and not the ratings, now if you are fast enough not to come into contact with a player on the field than the animation will not kick in cause there is no contact.
I think thats why line play is so poor cause of the constant contact which just causes confution and im sure there is only about 6 animations between o and d linemen.

All games are based on animations. All 3d model art as of right now is based on animation. There is no getting around it.
All madden need is better animation blending or branching whatever you want to call it.
2K is a fully animated game and it has 90% of the stuff we are asking for. Dline/Online play, proper footplanting, wr/db interactions ect.
Problem isn't the game being animation based, the problem is there aren't enough animations. So you get weird looking things happening on the field.
