    B1G Releases 2014 Schedule

With the B1G expanding to 14 teams in 2014 with the inclusion of Maryland and Rutgers to the conference, the conference finally released the schedules for each team.

All I have to say is, welcome Rutgers.

    Re: B1G Releases 2014 Schedule

As I said in the OT thread:

The Gophers non division games are Ohio State and Michigan.

AWESOME schedule for a team trying to take the next step out of the cellar...

          Re: B1G Releases 2014 Schedule

I like the consistency the B1G is showing in welcoming its newest members. Nebraska didn't get any favors when we came into the conference, and now neither are Maryland or Rutgers.

Not a Rutgers fan but live in New Jersey, One thing I'm happy about is I can finally see nice good teams play at Rutgers unlike the typical UCONN big east team.

                      Re: B1G Releases 2014 Schedule

I would say Purdue got a nice schedule. The hardest teams will be at home (outside of Nebraska) and we have a decent shot at getting to a bowl game.

The biggest thing is holy crap, Rutgers is in for a beating sadly. They get their bye early then face the gauntlet. That's just down right cruel, especially being put in a constant stacked division that the East is.
NFL: Houston Texans / Carolina Panthers
                      NBA: Indiana Pacers
                      MLB: Cleveland Indians
                      NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers
                      NASCAR: Ryan Newman

One day, Purdue Men's Basketball and Football will become relevant again.

I think a .500 conference record or above would be a decent season.

                          Not a chance pal.

And they scheduled all the premium teams for RU so they can get as many eyeballs watching for the BTN.

Someone hasn't had their team play Ohio State or Michigan at home very often. With a huge Michigan alumni base in NYC and Rutgers have three sellouts in the four year history of their new stadium and an average attendance of 44k, you sure about "not a chance?"
