After all of the owner mode features released by Madden today, NCAA better have some in depth Dynasty. We've been stuck with the same formula for a little too long now. There just needs to be more "stuff" to do. The stadium upgrades, staff hiring, facilities and concessions are a real nice touch. Hopefully the Dynasty blog impresses because Madden is looking like the superior game right now.

I'm hoping the same. I run a OD and after the news on M25 most guys are asking about switching to Madeen. I guess we'll wait until 5/28 to determine if we're switching.

I mean that all sounds great but look EA would have to get permission from all 120+ schools to be able to "add" to these stadiums or whatever. But none the less agreed upon EA has to beef it up. I've been waiting to be able to do some stuff that Madden has been able to but in NCAA. I'm just patiently waiting.

Point is there better be a much cleaner, quicker, way to doing things the way Madden's Franchise mode is layed out. There needs to be more depth to the recruiting process, which coaches you send to which recruits. Sending a certain position coach to reel in a certain player, one coach who recruits better in certain states, etc. You should run a full staff the way you do in The Show, NBA 2k & now Madden. Maybe stadium expansion might be difficult, but there should be more depth to weekly stories, polls, practices, development of players.

They can't just give us the same formula, different coat of paint and say we made recruiting more difficult, and now you can have neutral site games... and expect us to get excited.

I agree Madden is looking better right now.. Hopefully next week when the reveal the dynasty playbook it will blow us away.

I'm not trying to be an *******, but I doubt very seriously that they blow us away. I hope im wrong, but history is not on their side.

Especially with 15 making the jump to next gen, almost guarantees we won't see anything groundbreaking.

I just want to be able to hire and fire my own staff. I'd take something as small as that.

Sure they could and maybe should make recruiting/dynasty a lot more in depth and time consuming but they better give an option to keep it the way it currently is because for me recruiting is fun and if that turns into a weekly grind that I have to get through every week then I will be really disappointed.

There is no way EA will ever get the okay to actually edit these schools. That is something I can say with some confidence.

As far as updating Dynasty, the biggest thing EA can do to make Dynasty better is increase the number of players in an OD, and flesh out what it already there, as well as adding in the small features we have been wanting.

Outside of that, what can they add?

Likeness issues is what's holding them back.

But they could add*
-the feature to edit recruiting classes and have ability to use other people's recruiting classes.
-Add the Team Styles stuff from Madden. Where every player has a player type and teams recruit for their playstyle.
-I know they have a new feature called Coach Skills. If that could be tied to Playcalling, than it could have a big effect on how CPU calls play
-Improve Dynasty presentation.

Pretty much nothin can change which is just sad.

1. You have get permission for that kinda stuff

2. Wish the discipline thing even though its a part of college football or anything in general they won't allow it because its the bad side. I loved that in old games

Everything is just so technical nowadays especially with everybody wanting to sue you for any little thing you do

I just wish we could hire staff too. Coordinators could have strengths and weaknesses like recruiting or play calling. The more experience they had means that you have access to more plays in the playbook or something. I don't know, I'm just spit balling.

Remember when coaching carousel was first released and suddenly you had to focus on the team goals? We need more to do like that. The current process is just so stale and flat....force myself to check ESPN, recruit, play games, repeat. It just doesn't do it for me anymore. The fact that menus haven't changed in 3 years doesn't help either. I just want to start up a dynasty this year and have it feel different and fresh for once. C'mon EA be unexpected!
