Since Urlacher retired...

Do you think he will be in the Madden 25 ala as a free agent? Or not at all like Favre for 09?(or was it 10 I forget) Was planning a Chicago CCM for 25 but now Im not so sure.

I don't think retired players should be in the game. Maybe they add him in as a legend.

However, they do allow people to come out of retirement in the game.

I think this feature should be interactive. If I think that Urlacher(who I don't like so ill change players) or Brian Dawkins out of retirement, he should have to be interested, you'd have to pay him handsomely, and there wouldn't be a competition at his position. If he accepts that 1 yr deal he will, if not, then not.

I think this will depend on when they stop updating the rosters before they have to start shipping the game out. Since it is May, I imagine he will be removed in time before they have to finish the game.

Are retired players still represented by the NFLPA, or would EA have to go elsewhere for permission to include Urlacher in their game?

Because he is a FA and retired he is most likely excluded from the agreements of the NFLPA, if he had a year left on his contract he would still fall under the NFLPA agreement is my guess...

I would really like to see major changes to the "Brett Favor for the other team" feature. Players who retire in CFM should stay retired, unless a team suffers a significant injury at his position and has cap space, coach and team prestige + roster rating (contender) to lure him back to the field. So Brady isn't coming out of retirement to back up P. Manning or vise versa...
