Title says it all ... I'm very excited with the return of keys elements for me such as multi-teams offline franchise and owner mode.... But gameplay and strategy wise we need to assign defenders

I hope they fix the defense lining up all fd up. If someone is in twins WR, and in in a zone, they make my CB go over there with them and change the whole zone up. Same as in NCAA

Hoping for defensive assignments to come back also.

I would also like to be able to see where players are lined up on offense when I look at my defense (R2/RT trigger), or where people are on defense when I am on offense....

FYI, you can disable "disguise coverage" in M13 and they won't do that.

I also hope defensive assignments have returned and work right.

I was hoping someone that still has M13 would have answered this but if I remember correctly, it's in the defensive preplay adjustments and/or in the play call screen. Seems like I remember the option to not disguise coverage in the play call screen, when picking a defensive play.

U reset your defense when u notice this happening, i havent played in a long while but resetting your defense is how you get them to line up normally.

If they work correctly then I wouldn't mind them to come back. If not, just keep it off the game. Madden 12's were awful.

Having D assignments back in the game is meaningless unless they fix the issues in the passing game. tbh

If route running/man coverage interactions havent improved,if dpp trait "plays ball in air" supersedes ratings, if some routes beat man coverage no matter that match up D assignments wont make a difference.

If it is just put in now it is just a lateral move.

Also the disguise coverage that was put in for M13 wasnt put all the way in to meet last gen standards
