MLB 2K13 Prospects and Rosters (XBox)

This is a roster I created using the leagues top 100 prospects, as well as every team's top 10-15 prospects. There are roughly 450 prospects added to this roster.

I made this in game, therefore, faces, pictures, swings, etc. are all not 100% accurate. The main thing I focused on was race, age, size, and positions. I used scouting reports and real stats to make their attributes as realistic as I knew how. Also, there are a few prospects that may seem to be at the wrong positions. However, some scouts thought that some players would not stay at certain positions, so I went ahead and moved them.

This is a rough roster and I will probably tinker with it. When I update it, I will let you guys know. I am also open to suggestions for the betterment of the file. Please share your ideas.

basically, shogunofharlem3 was tweaking attributes, he lowered all players anticipation attribute down to 25 (thats as low as it goes). the results of his tweaking of that attribute lead to a smoother game play. animations were smoother, double plays were smoother, hits, running, pitching, fielding, etc were all smoother.

i finally had a chance to test out the 2k12 roster with that attribute edited on all teams/players.. wow! its unbelievable what a difference it makes.

i went through 2k13's 5/29 roster updated and edited the Mets and Yankees players to have that attribute at 25, boom, same results. feels so much better..

took me about 5 minutes to edit each team, so not that much time to do this small adjustment IMO. if you wanted to include this adjustment in your rosters great. if not, no big deal.

if you needed help doing the adjustments, id be willing to help you out. i could do the NL teams and you could the AL. i c ould even possibly edit all the Free Agents as well.

We also raised the catcher block plate rating to 99 for each catcher. It had no bearing on their overall rating - none whatsoever. BUT it did make the catchers play smarter on close plays at home plate. Just another thought on your work here that might be of help to consider.

let me know.. do what you can and post back when you want me to take over. when we get all the players with the 25 anticipation and 99 catcher fix you will have a perfect base to expand upon down the line. good stuff!

I have done the Angels, Astros, and A's. I skimmed over 2 star players, because I don't think they will reach the MLB level, as well as pitchers. I am hard pressed for time with school and work. It took me about 2 months just to make all 450 prospects, so I appreciate the help.

Also, for this editing, I made another file named Moth v1.

ok, getting ready to head out for the night.

i completed all the free agents. all pitchers and hitters (catchers with 99 block plate as well)

i went through and did all the pitchers (anticipation) for the Angels, Astros, and A's that you left out.

i also did the Blue Jays, Braves, and Mets.

i just did the Major League Rosters for those teams. i want to get through the entire MLB before going to the Minor League Rosters.

how about let me knock out the MLB over the next 48 hours and post an update back on Wednesday around 4pm est?

ill knock out a bunch if you just give me the time, since you already put in a ton of work and hours on prospects.

try searching the file name instead of gamertag. file name like above is "Moth v1."
