OSFM HYBRID v2.0 Now Available

Ok everyone, for all of you anxiously waiting for it - I just released the OSFM HYBRID v2.0 into the Vault - I will provide an online link at a later date.

First off I must give credit where it is due.

Thank you to all who helped with the initial Hybrid v1.0 and subsequent releases - you know who you are.

Version 2.0 would not have happened to this degree without a ton of work from Teeds & also Scott

Because of their efforts the following is included in this release

- Many new CAPs and added players
- Up to date Transactions and 40 man Rosters
- Equipment and Stances updated through use of the threads on this site
- Apx. 20 players who are overachieving IRL had their ratings updated (a list will be provided for those who would like to add these updates to previous releases)

For those who are new to the whole Hybrid Roster , here is a link to v 1.0 and explanations of what his roster is about and also the key contributors to the initial releases

Thank you everyone especially teeds for making this roster happen - we have a great community here and the group efforts make games the The Show much more realistic.

The roster is available in the Vault under OSFM HYBRID v 2.0 - PSN - crapinmyshoe

No promises on future updates, although I am sure we will provide a few transaction updates here and there, I think I can speak for teeds and myself in saying we are kind of burnt out on the whole roster creation process right now and would like to just play the game for a while.

Please if posting in this thread - do not constantly repeat questions or suggestions

Keep things positive, criticism/suggestions are always appreciated but in the proper way

Biggest rule is ENJOY! This is a video game and things can not be perfect but this roster gives a pretty close second to perfect!

Can you explain how to get the lineups to stick? Version 1.4 all I had to do was load the rosters into my franchise and play. But with 2.0 the lineup gets messed up after spring training. Thanks

You have to take the rosters down to 25 players... Go to the 40 man section when in rosters and remove the 15 players that don't have MLB listed for their level.

But they all have MLB listed on their level. So what just pick and choose who to send down. The other roster wasn't like this. Thanks

Have them sorted by overall ratings and start sending down the lowest rated player leaving the cream of the crop in the majors. Easiest and quickest way to do it if you don't care about realism and who's on what level to begin the season

First off, these rosters are amazing. Transactions are updated to a tee (exactly what I love to see in a roster that is supposed to have updated transactions).

To address your concerns greg, even if you don't do 30 team control, the actual MLB rosters of teams shouldn't be messed up too badly after spring training. The great thing about this set imo is that players like Jorge Soler, Danny Hultzen, etc. that are top prospects have been left off of the 40 man and replaced with players who played in the majors for the teams that they are on at some point this season (some examples are Donnie Murphy on the Cubs, etc.). So although lineups may get jumbled a bit, the 25 man roster after spring training for almost every team should be accurate. Amazing work, love the rerates, and after doing some personal customization, I am going to try and recreate the magic that is the 2013 Pittsburgh Pirates #Bucn
