SB's Alternate NBA 2K13 Slider Set

Hey guys, SB here... I realize that the Trifecta Slider Set has earned a little following and much support, and I greatly thank you all for that so I'll leave those sliders up. What I have for you now, is an alternate set that I have been using in my every day games/Association mode. At first glance some sliders may seem to make the game too easy (high Shot Success, high Ball Handling, high Stealing, etc.) but these things are negated, or at least stacked up to with other sliders (high Defensive Strength, high On Ball Defense, high Reaching Fouls, etc.)

I have borrowed a couple of Attributes and Tendencies from JasonWilliams55 and DcashMusic, respectively. Credit is given where credit is due.

Of course, the Roster I use is the Trifecta Roster, so this set is automatically compatible with that Project, but I need you guys to help me test with other rosters. If anyone gets a chance to try these out, please let me know what roster you are using and how your games turn out.

Just played a thrilling Game 7 of Spurs (me)-Heat (cpu). The only slider that I changed was shooting fouls to 82, I got a ton of calls in the 1st quarter. The game flowed almost perfectly. There were momentum swings, runs, and big plays made, just like in real life. I made a key steal with Manu Ginobili as Dwayne Wade passed out of a shot to Lebron, that set up Tony Parker to lay it on the break and essentially seal the title for San Antonio, 116-111.

Parker was in foul trouble the entire game, but he stepped up huge in the 4th, even with 5 fouls, he finished with 26 points, 7 assists, and 2 steals in 24 minutes. Ginobili was huge in the 3rd, finishing with 19 pts, 7 rebs, 9 asts. Tiago Splitter made huge defensive plays down the stretch, and the Heat Big 3 played a great game Lebron had 25 pts, 9 rebs, 6 asts, 3 stls, and 3 blks, but he still couldn't get it done. Bosh had 26 pts, and Wade had 21 and 5 stls. The Spurs shot 48 % from the field, Miami shot 40 %. The Spurs shot 28 FTS, Miami shot 31. You've done it again SB, another great slider set that makes games fun and intense, but in the end, you still end up having a fun time.

Just played a game with these. I use Meds rosters for the PC. Was me as the Bulls versus the Thunder, we were at the United Center.

This was the best feeling game I have ever played in NBA2k13. The flow of the game, the shots, the defense especially, it felt so good.

I jumped up to a nice lead, gave it away and we found ourselves tied, I think I had a 1 point lead going into the 2nd quarter. the 2nd was all mine, I shut them down, held them to just 10 points.

Coming out of the half the Thunder slowly worked my bench, got to within 7 points, starters came in and was able to push it back to double digits.

4th quarter, Thunder went on a roll, made it a game, even took the lead at one point. My top line up comes in, playing some hard defense. Was able to get to the line a few times, get their guys in trouble and get some easy buckets. The final minutes were a total back and forth until I was finally able to get an and one. Made some crucial stops, came down to it where the shot clock was off, about 20 seconds, up by only one. Played Westbrook tight, playing for a steal, he was able to get the pass off but the shot was contested and rimmed out, the ball was tapped up a few times until finally I got the ball and Thunder was forced to foul. Make both FT and up by three, they missed the buzzer 3 point try and I win the game.

This was a fun game, it felt right, felt like I just played a quality team. I am gonna roll with these for the remaining handful of games I got left in my association and through the playoffs. I will post how it goes from there, let you know if anything feels like it needs a tweak or so.

And it makes driving inside a real challenge, because it is hard to get there, and once there it is not like an automatic bucket like it was on some sets. If I get inside but have bad position or they slide the help and I got a big goon infront of me, no way am I getting that shot in. Heck, I am lucky if I can even get the shot to the rim and not blocked. But when I get a good penetration, I beat my man on the dribble and get good position in side driving to the hoop, I can make the bucket, and maybe pick up a foul along the way. I love it. Great job man, great job.

Wow. What an awesome game! I'm glad these sliders are working well for you! And yes, the driving the paint was a hard thing to get right, but I think right now its at a good balance. Like you said, you're able to create driving lanes with smart ballhandling and decisions, not just forcing your way through people.

I gave these a bit of a go for a quarter today & I must say I like how they feel so far. The interior defense is a welcome sight on the All Star level for me. I've tried numerous All Star sets on OS & the 2 major gripes I have are that shooting is too easy & once I get into the paint it's pretty much a gimme.

Seemed like the CPU attacked the paint heavy but I was only playing half hearted defense at best. I'll play a full game & let you know how it goes. By the way I'm on PS3 using Bedwardsroy's rosters.

Sorry I was tired, but anyway cpu air balled like 4 shots 3 by John Wall. The only person that could score was John Wall because he hogged the ball, and Bradley Beal couldn't hit Deebo with a brick . It wasn't as hard to get inside as everybody was saying, and I was hoping it was so. I will give these sliders another go tho, because it was just one game.
