I ask bc last night my 1st dynasty game was a 48-40 shootout on 8 mins normal speed.

I was playing normal on 5 min. And having more normal scores, but my stats were crazy low. So I then also moved to 8 min quarters on normal. And I am having he same thing. Every game is a high scoring shooting out. Average game score is 45-42.

I also need to find a better balance.

I've always tried to run quarters that result in approx. 400 ypg on average (offense), and 9 minute quarters do that for me, but depending on your play style, your mileage will vary. The thing is nowadays 400 ypg average is probably on the low side.

I'm using slow game speed right now, but I may experiment with others in the future.

I use 8 min quarters with slow speed with mwinly a rushing offense and it works really good.

9 min slow with 25 threshold.

I played with 7 but old yielded 120 total plays. 9 seems like a good number, perhaps 10.

Games veriers from 42-38 shootouts to 9-6 deference games...it's depends on the teams

Haven't decided yet, but for my upcoming Maryland dynasty, I'll be using 8 minute quarters on normal so the videos aren't too long (I'll be uploading them to YouTube.)
