Not buying the facemask excuse!
The producers said that putting the Revo Speed 2 Bar and the other popular masks could not be included due to ram issues, but there is a new kicker mask for the ION helmets. I am a huge facemask guy and am very disappointed in the exclusion them. Thoughts?

I never knew there were 'facemask guys'
Its hard for me to give my thoughts without sounding rude because I am not a 'facemask guy', but I will say that my thoughts are that I don't care that its not in the game, I don't pay attention to players helmets. I couldn't name 5 different helmets to save my life, I am just happy about the improved recruiting, gameplay and have been playing my dynasty games all day... which so far has been an absolute blast! -

Gran Turismo couldn't include Ferrari's in their game because of exclusively licensing. Damage to cars wasn't possible either because of licensing. Then Forza happened. Haha... I thought I read on this forum that "equipment guys" would be really happy with this year's game. I guess all those sleeves and bands my Ultimate Team players wear are bliss. It's like a clown car show coming out of the tunnel.Comment

Who cares? I would much rather see improvements to the game itself not equipment. not trying to sound rude, but there are more important issues to take care of when working on a game like this.Pittsburgh Steelers

I get your point. It's not what matters but the excuse that they use.
Adding a new kicker face mask before adding a popular one doesn't make sense.

What I don't get is why people who don't care about equipment (which is fine) criticize others who do and waste their time commenting on something they don't care about.
News Flash: Lots of people care about equipment, including me. Not having the most popular facemask in football is a noticeable thing to many people.
Can you imagine if NBA 2K didn't have headbands? Playing with LeBron would just be weird, and there would be tons of people complaining about it.
Not only do I want the players in the game to play like their real-life counterpart, I also want them to LOOK like their real-life counterpart.
What's so hard to understand about this?
Next Zelda game they should give link Brown hair and a Red tunic. Who cares, it doesn't affect gameplay.

there are sock guys, cleat guys and the worst of all dreads guys.... Here at OS they find a way to nitpick it all!!!

I am not a huge equipment guy. However, there are so few player models in the game that equipment is the only way to individualize each player. I am all about improved gameplay, but when your team looks like a bunch of clones, it's kind of cool to separate them a part from one another.Comment
