What determines
 

the home state of your players? Is it the roster template or the playbooks? If it's the templates how do the ones that aren't school assigned affect your home states (i.e. Air It Out, etc.)?

I just reread it and realized I didn't clarify that it was in Teambuilder (and it was worded in a confusing way).

I'm wondering what determines your player's home state when you're playing in dynasty. Is it the roster template or the playbooks you choose for your created team? If it's the roster template, how do the non-team specific templates affect your players' home states?

I hope this makes my question more understandable?

I don't know what the generic templates generate, but if you use a regular school, it's their template that's used for hometowns and also you'll get their pipeline state for dynasty..
