fat wide receiver recruits?

How accurate are the physical stats of the recruits in this years game? I remember a few years ago (not sure which edition it was) , I think I had a WR that was interested in coming to my school who was 6'3 250. I don't think I have ever known a WR in high school who was that big. do you still have recruits with crazy measurements like that in this years game?

On the other hand , I have recruited DE's that were 6'1, 200 before. that just doesnt make any sense. In past years games, the players would barely gain any weight by the time they were Seniors...well not all but some.

With the ability to customize players from tooth to toe, why does it really matter?

He's just wondering. And to attempt to answer your question I haven't seen anything outrageous yet. But that could definitely change.

Are you saying I can give my players grills?

I've had a lot of success changing those players positions in the past while they are still freshman. A 6'1" 200 lb. DE might be rated higher when you change him to LB, maybe even S. Same goes for when you move your 6'3" 250 lb. WR to TE or FB.

I moved a WR who was I think was around 230 to RB.

Maybe even a TE as well..

But for the most part, things have been sane as far as recruiting.:nchuck:

My first thought. If it wasn't for him this recruit would be completely unrealistic lol

e.

Lebron James played WR in high school,He was something like 6-8 and 230 to 240.It is not a big stretch for a WR to be that big but the most likely thing is they move them to te which i don't complete know why coaches like to that,If they have speed like a Veron Davis why wouldn't you keep them at WR

Jay Alford played QB in HS. Penn State had him at DT and then went on to play for the Giants.

Re: fat wide receiver recruits?

The thing that I don't like is that size still doesn't really matter, I have a TE who is 6'8" and 265 lbs. He never uses his body to shield the defender or high point the ball to out jump the guy, and I can't count the amount of times when DB's have stood him up and push him back tackling him while he is running full speed.

I put him out WR close to end zone for some jump ball situations against DB's that are a foot shorter and he rarely catches it, the DB's just attack the ball way more aggressively. In real life I guy that big would have a good chance of catching the ball, its like a point guard try to play post defense against a power forward or center.
