    Predict the 2013 - 2014 season

I figured it could be funny if we all gave our predictions for the 2013 - 2014 season. We then could easily look back at this thread at the end of the season and figure who was close and who was way off. I'am also tired of the very vague stuff people oftenly say like: 'Oh i've predicted this and that' 'Oh I knew the Lakers woudn't be good' etc etc.

My idea is that everyone can give his prediction about three teams, three players, and who are the two teams to make the finals and who wins it all.

You can edit your post until the season start. I'll check the date of the edits people.

I'll post mine once I'am done with the cops at my door lol. Pretty crazy.

    Is this thread legit btw?

Ah ok you went the stats way. I was thinking about more describing with words how do you think theses teams and theses players will do. Maybe in a more general manner.

        Re: Predict the 2013 - 2014 season

        I'll go further lol

        East:
        1.Heat
        2.Nets
        3.Pacers
        4.Bulls
        5.Knicks
        6.Raptors
        7.Cavs
        8.Wizards

        West:
        1.Thunder
        2.Clippers
        3.Spurs
        4.Rockets
        5.Grizzlies
        6.Warriors
        7.Nuggets
        8.Jazz

Thunder beat Heat in finals(causing Lebron/Wade/Bosh to all run to another city and making NBA even more annoying with superstars continuing to jump to only big name cities)

Back on topic...Giving records for 3 teams...
        Raptors: 43-39
        Heat: 61-21
        Thunder: 59-23

You guys can also add a line or two about someting more general, like team chemistry or how two players get along. Or maybe something not very important that you may feel will happen.

                    Teams:
                    Cavaliers-(46-36)
Bynum plays >50 games and has an average line. Still good enough to propel kyrie into his first playoff series against the #2 seed heatles and LeBron.

Orlando- My beloved magic finish (12-70) and put together what could go down as the worst season of all time. Still lose the lottery and take a 2nd round talent very early in the draft. ): stupid hennigan..

Lakers- Go down a seed and slip in the eight due to injuries yet again. Easy sweep for the 1 seeded OKC. Kobe is devastated and considered leaving for greener pastures in his final days.. ( Maybe hometown philly?) Sending LA spiraling into the worst rebuilding faze in laker history. (And no, Melo and LeBron do not go there.. lol.)

                    Players:
Jonas Valanciunas explodes and becomes a force for Toronto.. leading them to a playoff berth.
                    17.3 PPG 11.4 RPG.

Monte Ellis shows what he's really made of and contends for a scoring title.. making cubans doubters look foolish.
                    26.5 PPG. 44%FG

Cody Zeller leads yet another very bad bobcats team. Is beraded for lack of success as pick 3. Jordan's Owning career worsens.
                    8 PPG. 5.7 RPG. 45% Shooting

                    Finals:
WCF Thunder beat spurs in 5.. sending .SAs final contending chance away.
ECF Miami beats #1 seed Brooklyn in 6 LeBron takes over.

Miami 3-peat over OKC in 6, LeBRon MVP.. however KD averages almost 40

I'm surprised so many are picking Miami to come out of the East. Miami is obviously a contender, but with Rose coming back, Brooklyn's trade and FA acquisitions, and Indiana returning Granger plus a couple of good FA signings, I think Miami has their hands full at the least. It's going to be a tough road.

Yeah a lot of other teams in the East have gotten better while the Heat have stood pat(or gotten worse depending if you're not a fan of a Mike Miller amnesty). Battier, Allen, Wade aren't getting any younger and well Bosh is Bosh you never know.
