This could be bad...

If is like hot for one game...then normal for two...then hot for another...then cold the next...all for one player than this makes no sense whatsoever.

Hopefully it can be turned off if it likely sucks.

Nice!! Great addition here. Hopefully players on hot streaks will see attribute boosts, and players on cold streaks will see attribute drops. I also hope there are degrees of hot and cold streaks. If a player has a bad few games, his attributes should only slightly decrease. If he has a bad month or two, he should see more extreme decreases in his attributes. The same goes for hot streaks.

I'd like to see fatigue for goalies back in. Kind of tired always facing the #1 goalie and having most of the leagues starting goalies logging 70-75 starts.

Yes, we all want this. I wonder if goalie fatigue is tied in with the hot and cold streaks. They used to list fatigued goalies in the same spot as hot and cold players way back when they were in the game. Hopefully it's in too. Fingers crossed!

I'm so sick of playing the #1 goalie every time in GM/Season mode. Especially teams that have a 1A and 1B situation.

Our Canucks used to be just that with a 1A and 1B. now we dont even have anyone. brutal.

The sad thing is that game-to-game goalie fatigue already exists in EA NHL, just only in the Hockey Ultimate Team mode. It's been in that mode exclusively for at least two or three years now.

I don't understand why they haven't yet brought it over to the main modes most of us play (Season, Franchise, GM Connected).

I am excited about hot/cold streaks if they works okay. Like mentioned above, I don't want them random, I would like them to make sense. Like Ovy last year, cold streak for 20 games hot streak for 20 games. And I hope there are varying degrees. I don't want everybody on a hot streak to get the same attribute boosts and then when you are on a cold streak, the same thing.

The issue with streaks is that they are purely offense driven. I may have Phaneuf getting 2 points per game (hot streak), but he is -3 every game (cold streak), but he wil end up on a hot streak, when in reality he is playing crappy.

I would way rather have game to game fatigue for everybody. Back to backs should take there toll on players and goalies. So should 3 games in 5 nights or a long road trip. If they add that, then it makes managing a team a little more of a challenge.

Hilarious how they're hyping up a feature they've taken out from previous games. And the funniest part is that hot/cold streaks were originally implemented in, wait for it...NHL 94!

I don't think EA could adjust the rosters on your Sega, since there was no online connection. That was different than this.

And to those who want this is GM modes, why? If a player on your team in the game is a league leader in points, yet slumping in real life, you would want his stats to go down?

Who said that we would like the hot and cold streaks in our game to reflect real life situation? No, You got it all wrong. What we want is to get the hot and cold streaks back as it was in previous versions of the game.

It's starting to sound like all the "reforms" in this year's game are made to get more arcadeish hockey experience. No thanks, Franchise Hockey Manager for me this year...

No, we want it to be independent just like it was for years on previous iterations of the franchise. If a player on your team is the league leader in points in BAGM, he would get a hot streak set to him to boost his stats and allow him to consistently perform as his stats in the mode indicate, independent of what he's doing in reality. The entire BAGM mode is a personalized alternate reality. We want it to be treated as such. Hence the clamoring for hot/cold streaks, goalie fatigue and line chemistry implementation.

Dont like this sort of feature in any sort of game. Will be looking the off button as soon as I fire the game first time.

My biggest concern is regarding 3rd and 4th liners. If we cant set the minutes each individual line is given in GM Mode then whats to say those 6 guys dont get worse come late game battles or playoffs when the game seems to love the 1st and 2nd...
