Substitutes in Madden 25

Is it clear yet whether when you make substitutions in franchise mode they actually stick week to week? In madden 13 you had to redo them each week as they didnt save. I dont want my 330lb nose tackle in my dime formation thank you.

Great question. It was great to have the formation subs stick each week in previous versions. It stunk last year to have to switch them each game.

In fact it would be even better to be able to do it outside of the game. (my apologies if you can, but I dont think you can)

NCAA has it so you can set formation subs outside the game, makes things so much easier. Hopefully madden does it this way

And this is one of the things that baffles me. Why do two football games from the same company differ so much. Even basic components like the pre-play adjustments. I understand they want to be different from each other, but there are other ways of doing that

anyone have any updates on this?

Ideally it would be good to set this outside an actual game but even if it was like Madden 12 where you set the subs once and then they carried through would be acceptable

Hoping to get an answer on this as well. I know there is no out-of-game formations subs mode like I was desperately hoping for, but I would at least like to know if the subs you make in games stick from week to week.

I will be returning my game as soon as it comes in if that's not the case.
