    Players Stopping After the Catch?

I'm unsure if I'm doing something during gameplay, but this is seriously pissing me off. Basically what happens is I throw to a receiver in stride, but as soon as he catches the ball, he stops moving or slows back down for a split second which usually allows a defender to grab him.

It even happens when they are wide open down the field. Instead of catching the ball and continuing the sprint, they do this stutter step thing which slows them down enough to be tackled. It doesn't happen every play, but it's definitely noticeable.

    Is anyone else seeing this?

Yes I have been seeing this as well and I believe the only way to fix it is having your game speed on Normal and speed threshold at 0

Maybe that's why - playing on Very Fast with 10 threshold. Thanks for the heads up!

this happens to me just about every time as well. It sucks for screen passes, they are virtually worhtless.

I will try changing the speed settings tonight and see what happens

I'm playing on normal with 10 speed threshold and don't have that problem, but I do agree it has something with speed threshold. When I tried it at anything over 40 I would see it.

Yeah guys, this was crushing me as well. Setting the speed to normal and threshold to zero solves it. I set the game to fast before I ever played a game and wondered what was up too. Must be a mistake in the game creation.

I play on Fast with the threshold on 15. Man but at zero is it easy to go paydirt allot?

Holy crap guys. There have been like 5 threads about this. Its not the speed threshold, its the game speed. If you use FAST or VERY FAST, the receivers will stop after they make the catch.

I guess that it probably depends on the team, but as WVU I dont have any real burners, and while I break a long one here or there, the CPU always catches me from behind before I go more than 35 yards or so. The CPU also is able to break big runs, so it makes defense more challenging.
