He is right though, playing online ranked how it is now is pointless, we need lobbies back & I would love it if we could see players win/loss/DNF % in picking team menu,

Goes into 2k8 lobby "which one of you clowns wants to play the best" gets 50invites

He definitely makes some great points. That guy has been a sim gamer since day 1. He is the most dedicated 2k fan I know and is into the future of gaming as myself "Online". I personally don't play offline, I can't get excited about playing the cpu anymore.

Adding in Spectator Mode to watch Online friends and opponents would be great if we could maintain a stable connection also.

But we definitely should get lobbies with difficulty levels to separate the all star, superstar and hall of fame skilled players and let them choose where they feel fit. I personally am strictly Hall of Fame but others like the other skill levels. But 3 lobbies would be great.

I don't think that statement's true, but nonetheless I think the online service needs to be improved, based on what I've heard from people on this forum.

Personally I don't play online at all, online offline association.

I'm all for lobbies returning but I'm not sure why they should be ranked. A cheeser could easily come into a sim lobby and look to frustrate a sim gamer for a win. Why not just make lobbies so we can link up with like minded players? Or maybe install the community zone like Madden?

Also, a lot of people think because they play on simulation that makes them sim. They don't truly understand the mindset of sim. Instead of gong down that road we could just create our own environments through the game and call it good.

Unless dudes are seriously using their W/L record as a measuring stick...

Nba 2k online has fell off completely. I miss the old days playing competitively online ranked matches. It meant something to go on a big win streak and looking at your wins vs losses thinking im a bad man, nobody can mess with me lol. But forreal 2k need to just go back to the basics online. Give us lobbies. Up the difficulty setting to sim superstar. Online gaming is the future. So respect us online gamers. Do not ignore us. I respect what prime and everyone with the online nation is doing. Im with the movement. Also most of yall who only play offline or dont care about the difficulty level or ranked games are usually straight bums lol. Some of these youtube commentaries are trash thats why they only play myplayer. Im done venting

I loved hanging out in the lobby. we used to promote leagues tournaments in real time and also talk about the game with other hardcore 2K ballers. Those were some good times.

Playing onlibe users is the ultimate challenge for a realistic game especially against sim users. Playing the cpu is good only after tweaking the sliders which would take months to perfect sometimes. Online play is the way to go and as stated is in now and the future.

Lobbies with a good ranking and reputation system would make things great again. I like hall of fame and others like superstar. So let us users choose superstar, hall of fame & beginners. Beginners are for people with a certain amount of games and ranking and the other 2 lobbies for the users who obviously have surpassed the beginner level. If 2k doesn't want us hanging in the lobby too long then create the lobbies with the ability to timeout users after 5 min. Because any users in there longer than 5 min are just wasting time & trolling.
