    Re-Doing Playoffs Past

This is a thread I'm making to play through the 'Playoffs' game mode in 2K13 with the current rosters. It'll be interesting to see who comes out on top in these situations.

    First is 2013:

    West:

    1 Thunder
    8 Rockets
    4 Clippers
    5 Grizzlies
    3 Nuggets
    6 Warriors
    2 Spurs
    7 Lakers

    East:

    1 Heat
    8 Bucks
    4 Nets
    5 Bulls
    3 Pacers
    6 Hawks
    2 Knicks
    7 Celtics

Predictions? Remember these are CURRENT rosters.
Personally, I think the Nets will move on this time around, along with OKC getting farther.

    Good idea.

GSW vs Nets in the final, Golden state wins it all.

      Re: Re-Doing Playoffs Past

Now, everything here is simulated. Both of my predictions were wrongs unfortunately.

      First Round:

      HOU beats OKC in 5
      LAC beats MEM in 5
      GS beats DEN in 6
      SA beats LAL in 5
      MIA beats MIL in 5
      CHI beats BKN in 5
      IND beats ATL in 6
      BOS beats NY in 6

      Second Round:

      LAC vs. HOU
      SA vs. GS

      MIA vs. CHI
      IND vs. BOS

      HOU beats LAC in 6
      SA beats GS in 6
      MIA beats CHI in 6
      IND beats BOS in 7

      Conference Finals:

      MIA vs. IND
      SA vs. HOU

      MIA sweeps IND
      HOU beats SA in 6

      Finals:

      HOU vs. MIA

MIA wins in 6. Heat repeat.

Very unfortunate. (Sorry Heat fans.) 2012is next.

        For 2012:

This is basically what would've happened had D-Rose never tore his ACL.

        West:
        1 Spurs
        8 Jazz
        4 Grizzlies
        5 Clippers
        3 Lakers
        6 Nuggets
        2 Thunder
        7 Mavericks

        East:
        1 Bulls
        8 Sixers
        4 Celtics
        5 Hawks
        3 Pacers
        6 Magic
        2 Heat
        7 Knicks

        MIA wins in 5
        IND sweeps ORL
        BOS beats ATL in 5
        CHI beats PHI in 6
        OKC beats DAL in 7
DEN wins against LAL in 6
LAC wins in 6 against MEM
UTA pulls an upset against SA, winning in 6

        Second Round:

        LAC beats UTA in 5
        OKC beats DEN in 5
        MIA beats IND in 5
        CHI beats BOS in 5

        Conference Finals:

        OKC beats LAC in 5
        MIA beats CHI in 7

        Finals:

MIA gets 3-0 lead, but OKC eventually wins in Game 7. Kevin Durant is crowned MVP and gets the ring he deserves.

Oklahoma City is also the first team to come back from a 3-0 deficit.

Are the rosters still the current rosters? In that case. MIA in 6 over OKC.

Yes, they are. And I'll take note of that.

Wow, pretty epic comeback by OKC (2012), I don't see that happening in RL unless a member of the big 3 was injured for the rest of the series at some point.

I think LeBron was injured, actually. Well I guess I can't check back now. I already deleted the save file for it. I assume it was an injury or just 2K's simulations.

So for the last one.. Somehow the Heat pulled off a Game 7 win without Wade. Just saying.

Oh yeah. I'm going to start reporting injuries starting now. All will be reported after the Playoffs.

LOL at that Bobcats Magic series...that would be tough to watch with todays rosters.

I pick Bulls, Heat, Hawks, Bobcats, Thunder, Nuggets, TrailBlazers, Spurs

                        then Heat, Hawks, Thunder, Spurs

then Heat, Thunder again with Heat winning lol

When a trail is blazing it's because of the heat right? Just checking.

                            Champions so Far:
                            2013 - Miami Heat
                            2012 - Oklahoma City Thunder
                            2011 - Miami Heat

I was completely shocked by how far Portland and Charlotte got. Then again, I think Charlotte got lucky in the second round..

Predictions? I just want to see the Cavaliers and Heat meet in this one. I don't know about the Finals, but most likely it'll be heated. *cough, cough*
