Madden 25 PS4 and XBOX1

With the current gen retail version of Madden 25 releasing today.... How long do you think we will have to wait to get some screens and more video of the next gen version of the game? I'm personally super excited to get an extended look at what exactly the Ignite Engine can give us!

Hopefully soon but others have posted EA wanted to wait until this version was out. Hopefully September sometime. I am excited as well and hope they step up their game for the next gen.

I'm thinking it won't be until at least November. EA wants to keep the hype up for this gen games as long as possible. If they start putting stuff up for next gen, they be sucking the hype down from this gen games.

So you are saying they won't release anything until the consoles are basically out? No way, the latest would be October.

I agree, PS4 has slated Madden as a Launch Date Release so I would think it would have to be a month or two before XB1 or PS4 release dates. My guess will be Midway through September or a couple weeks after the NFL starts and Madden ADs start dying down.

I'm thinking that we will start getting information in September. Hopefully some developer blogs highlighting some of the major improvements, and inside details of what they are now able to do with the more powerful systems!

It's pretty much going to be the same, doubt EA will take the time to improve graphics or add anything special. The same ps2 type graphics will be back for next gens madden.

Madden 25 Next gen- When will we see more?

What is the hold up in seeing more Madden next gen? We have had alot of Gaming related trade shows like Comicon, Gamescon, Pax recently and other next gen games were shown but not even a hint of Madden.

What is the hold up? How up a video here and their? The systems are only about 8-10 weeks away, why the secrecy?

They are trying to fix all the bugs we've found. They probably didnt excpect is to find this many so quickly. They are going to show videos that show DB covering skills, run stuffing defense, in accurate quarterbacks, etc. but first, they must program the game. My guess is they are struggling. This coming generation is really going to expose the Madden team as incapable programmers.

They don't need to wait honestly, slight gameplay bugs can be covered up or at the lest it can be said the game is still in progress. We have seen NOTHING of next gen madden since E3 and even then it wasn't that much.

I'd simply like to see a little bit of actual hand in the controller gameplay.

We aren't gonna see anything until we get closer to release. Next month we should get some solid info. The first bit of info for Madden 06 on Xbox 360 didn't start to leak out until the beginning of oct. Unless it comes from EA/Tiburon, actual gameplay won't pop up until gaming sites get next gen systems, and a build or retail copy of the game.

I lost any excitement the last video. While we only saw brief running from Peterson, it looked like the same exact engine with some graphics polish and maybe a few new gameplay features stack on top.

I was really hoping for a new gameplay experience, or at least a better one

I went back and watched the Adrian Peterson video. It looked EXACTLY like current gen Madden, but with upgraded graphics. So the Ignite engine isn't a new engine at all as some including I have said. EA sports needed a completely new engine coming into next gen and they failed to deliver. I'm sorry, but with the engine we have now there is no way we will get a good sim game out of that. I don't see next gen Madden being much better than this gen. Solely because it is using the same bad engine as this gen. Until Madden gets a real brand new engine it will always be mediocre at best.

Please don't give me the it's an early build and we didn't see much from it excuse. With Madden it has always been what you see is what you get. I was hopeful for next gen, but after playing Madden 25 and then rewatching the E3 video I have lost a lot of hope. It's the same engine with a new name slapped on top of it. I hope they can make a great game again, but I am not counting on it.
