Matt Stafford or anyone else disappear on you?
 

Matt Stafford disappeared on me entering my second season. 360

So I was testing something out, and I simulated every game of the season, even the post season. everything is normal. So I simulate the offseason, I don't let the CPU do anything but draft my players. so I simulated through, didn't resign anyone, didn't sign free agents, nothin. I start the new preseason, Matt Stafford isn't on the team anymore. he had two years left on his contract, so he wasn't even a free agent. I checked free agents, not there. I checked every roster three times, not there. I checked the legacy ratings, he's not there! I checked the NFL records and his records still stand. Stafford disappears though! He is no longer in the game.

Not sure, I couldn't go back. I'm doing it again to see what happens.

Vick disapears in my game ever time I advance past the first season.

Didn't happen the second time. I remember now that Stafford played in all 16 games, so if he had a career ending injury it was in the playoff game.

I am completely guessing... never even heard of anything like that in an Madden. But I guess it would make some sense. More sense for Mike Vick, but that would be really, really strange if the AI is just deleting QBs each year.

Same here. In my jets offline franchise, start of year 2, first game of regular season is vs Eagles. Matt Barkley is their best QB. Im surtherr was no mention of him retiring anywhere. He's not in FA or another team, just gone. WTH?

Might be what happened to Vick too in my franchise too. I believe Eagles made the wild card in the first year.
