Week 1 SNF: Giants @ Cowboys
Giants are undefeated at Jerry World; and thats where my positivity for the Giants in this one ends. Romo is about to break a record or two on the defense this week.Tags: None -

I think both teams do well this season, and Giants start it off first.Red Sox|Patriots|Celtics|UConnComment

Re: Week 1 SNF: Giants @ Cowboys
despite being a giants fan, im actually super excited to see Ware play DE.
i think this game is gonna come down to OT, unless dallas pulls away fast and the defense holds the lead, we all know about romo's struggles in the clutchComment

I know why (market size and fanbases), but it's a bit weird that the first SNF game of the year's between two teams that weren't in the playoffs last year.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Giants by 10.
This is really the make it or break it year for this iteration of the Cowboys. If they underperform than there's going to be some wholesale changes in the offseason.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Week 1 SNF: Giants @ Cowboys
I have Dallas winning this one. Last years opener was closer than it really was. I say Dallas by 2 TDs.
Some thing has to give...Giants are 4-0 in Jerry World..Dallas is 6-0 vs NY in openers(I think I heard that correctly).Comment

I have the Boys winning as well, but I wouldn't be surprised if we lost. Seems like Eli always finds a way to pull it out in Dallas. We'll see...

Re: Week 1 SNF: Giants @ Cowboys
Doesn't it!? I feel like the last 2 years Dallas should have won both games in Dallas...just some crazy ish happens.
I never put anything past our Cowboys anymore. This team has the talent to go 13-3, but we will somehow end up 8-8 or 7-9.Comment

Re: Week 1 SNF: Giants @ Cowboys
I want to believe that this year's Cowboys team is different. The offensive line, the new defensive front and coaching staff, and safeties are still huge question marks for me holding me back from actually believing this year is different.
I'm not going to make a prediction. I'm rather just going to watch and enjoy.Comment

Our preseason wasn't very encouraging. Red zone woes, injuries, the usual. I'm expecting another roller coaster of a game between these two, with the Giants pulling it out at the end.XBL: Mean Greene

Re: Week 1 SNF: Giants @ Cowboys
Did you know that Tony Romo tied with Matt Ryan in tallying five 4th quarter comebacks in 2012, entered 2012 as the career leader in 4th quarter passer rating, and posted the fourth-best 4th quarter passer rating of all quarterbacks in 2012?
Romo has had high-profile failures, and I realize stats aren't the entire story, but a strong case can be made that the perception of Romo as a choke artist is entirely overblown. If it comes down to the Cowboys having a drive to win the game, I like Romo's chances.
...it must be football season, I'm talking up Tony Romo again, surely to look like a fool later. :-)Comment
