LeBron James in NBA 2K13

I play NBA 2K13 online, quick ranked. I use the Nets exclusive and I know 2K14 is coming out soon and it will be the end of the LeBron Turbo Cheese but I need to know:

What do I have to do to stop LeBron James? I only play man to man defense so don't tell me to resort to the 1-3-1 zone which I am hoping is weaker in 2K14. Gerald Wallace gets bullied by LeBron James and its total BS, what is the point of even having Gerald Wallace if he is going to get bullied against a player galvanizing the paint at will with turbo and holding the dunk button with LEBRON JAMES.

Suggestions?

Why be stubborn and not switch to a zone when someone is driving all day...

If you drive I zone; you 3 point shoot I man to man (or 3-2 if they are doing that back and forth across the three pt line), etc.

Like a chess match; they choose a tactic and you try to adjust and counter. Why handicap yourself by taking options off the table; believe me, the turbo Lebron user isn't going to limit the times he turbo drives.

People don't make a distinction between playing online or offline here, which is a big difference. This thread should be called "How to stop Lebron James ONLINE in 2K13"

I don't understand why people continue to play online against random people cause it seems like the people who complain about the game are online people who aren't even interested in playing real basketball.

Can someone explain to me why people keep playing this online when people play the game like in this video? This isn't basketball at all.

And, why do people complain about 2K being cheezy and glitchy when all they do is hopstep, spin and try to dunk with the superstar all the time?

of course i can stop lebron like this... but what about the million shooter you leave open... chances are people know that you have to double team and will just pass out of it

Only thing I have to say is , defend him with athletic defender or guys tht have effectively guarded lebron in real life.Some that come to mind are Iggy, tony Allen, sefalosha, paul George, Iman shumpert, and in the post make sure you have a good defensive center.Athletic defenders are for the perimeter, but having a good defender will disturb his post game. Of course this won't stop him by any means(mainly because of some of the silly unstoppable animations that he'll get in) but you will stop more of his offensive production than you do now.

It replicates real life.

you cant cover everything when you guard lebron, just like IRL , shooters will get open shots, its a pick your posion type thing in this game.

A.) Let lebron bullrush you for a and1, or a morphed spin double tapped and 1 layup.

B.) Leave allen or battier open and have a late closeout on them.

i know which is why i rarely play zone.... i rather have lebron dunking on me that open threes.

but this game is ridiculous even if you are playing man when someone does that spin layup everyone leaves their man open and thus they get a free 3 pointer.
